Issues with undressing

My sims are not undressing fully when having sex, is there an option I need to select? Or should this be automatic behaviour? Does it depend on the animation? Thanks.

By default, they'll only partially undress as necessary for the animation. I can't remember exactly how to get to the options, but I know it's under "sex settings", I think it's under a sub-menu there. There's one for played Sims and NPC Sims, both called (in part) "Undressing Settings". There's an option for "complete undressing", and if you select that, they'll get completely naked for all animations.

There are options for clothing parts in Nudity settings>Undressing settings>advanced settings. You can also turn socks/shoes, leggings and gloves on and off.
