The "shower together" animation is awesome! Need more... around the house animations like this.

But... if someone is standing in front of the shower, it cannot work.

If somebody is on the toilet, they get locked in place.

If you enter build mode the animation breaks entirely.

 

There is also the old bug with CAS mode. Sometimes the characters suddenly have the same name, same gender and share characteristics. Usually, shortly after this bug, CAS becomes fully broken and unavailable; it has a spinning icon and you can hear music playing behind like the game is running, but nothing ever happens.

Makes sense to me that the shower interaction won't work if someone's in front of it; Sims generally can't use objects others are blocking. The toilet thing might be because of the game's privacy "feature". I know Vicky Sims has a mod to disable privacy entirely so that might help. I've never entered BB during an animation because I assumed it would break things so can't help there.

 

Never heard of that CAS bug though. Do you have any mods that affect CAS itself (not just CC)? My first thought would be to make sure they're all updated and compatible with the current game version.

I only use a couple of CAS costumes, mostly underwear, but I keep finding CC that I didn't install; Eye liner, makeup and costumery.

My mods folder is a mess! Needs a spring clean...

Very odd! I would imagine some kind of mod or CC like that is impacting it, but hard to tell without any LE or something.

I uninstalled the game for a while – late 2023-ish until October 2024 I think? And redid my mod folder when I did it. I try to keep it pretty well organized and do okay but I regularly run BE scans just to make sure I'm not missing duplicates or conflicts. My folder is 3.15 GB and I've seen some people with hundreds or thousands of GB and I don't know how they keep track X_X

Anyway, sorry I wasn't any help, but I hope you get it sorted soon!
