efbldf2 Posted January 20, 2025 Posted January 20, 2025 (edited) Alright, I've looked to see if this has been addressed and I'm not seeing it. So... I'm running AE 1.6.1170 with Jcontainers 4.2.9 and Creature Framework 1.1.0-pre2 (including pre-reqs - in short, reqs and versions all seem to check out), but I keep getting the "Your installed JContainers version is incompatible with Creature Framework, or you don't have JContainers at all. Things will be very broken!" error. When Creature Framework isn't installed or if I install it after a fresh start I don't get the JContainers error. I've done a full reinstall, removed and re-downloaded all mod files, and even tried yelling at Vortex. No dice. Does anyone have any ideas? Log attached Edited January 20, 2025 by efbldf2
efbldf2 Posted January 20, 2025 Author Posted January 20, 2025 Just a bit of closure. After days of messing with this, it turns out that I had the non-SE/AE Creature Framework. If the file name doesn't have SE then you probably don't have the SE version. Hopefully this saves someone else!
