James Crouse Posted January 14, 2025 Posted January 14, 2025 I have anniversarry edtion and i downloaded all needed mods in the anniversary edtiitio but vortex is telling me that i need special edition?
mawofbeasts Posted January 14, 2025 Posted January 14, 2025 If you are using Vortex, try using the Manual Download option and select Mod Manager Download. Select top choice. That's what I had to do.
mawofbeasts Posted January 14, 2025 Posted January 14, 2025 Whatever the ann edition vers is. choose that 1, sry. I think its the top 1
mawofbeasts Posted January 14, 2025 Posted January 14, 2025 Just to be clear, I always check with Manual Downloads 1st to see if there are any special properties to mods such as patches and such that may be related to the mad. Just remember, it's not always beneficial bc it can cause confusion if you are new to modding.
Guest Posted January 14, 2025 Posted January 14, 2025 I haven't been able to play Skyrim on my computer in a few years, but I do remember having major problems with Vortex and being told to use Mod Organizer 2 instead, and that fixed all the issues I had that weren't user error (ie my own fault), so if you're still having issues, I'd suggest you try using that instead.
