alextraszas Posted January 14, 2025 Posted January 14, 2025 Hi, this is my first time using an ENB and I've fallen in love with how it looks, the ENB I'm using is https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrimspecialedition/mods/103633?tab=posts. Everything is fine except for one thing and that is that the inventory items look dark, not completely black but very dark. It's not a problem that affects me much actually, however it gives me OCD, does anyone know how I can solve this, with some other mod perhaps? images:
traison Posted January 14, 2025 Posted January 14, 2025 If I were you, I'd get the mod that disables input when the ENB menu is open then play with the values to see which one affects the brightness of inventory items. A fast way to do this is to start off with toggling features off/on to see which one affects what. Once you know which feature is responsible, adjust its values. When you find it, restore the settings then only adjust the one that affects your issue. Remember to save your changes. I have a feeling however that you'll have to sacrifice something else to fix this. 1

I'm going to try, although I don't want to damage the enb haha, what do you mean by sacrificing other things, what do you think it is?

When you find it, you load the settings again then only adjust the faulty setting. This way you can do whatever you want in the ENB menu, it will never break permanently. 1 hour ago, alextraszas said: what do you think it is? First guess, some kind of ambient light level. Could be hiding in a custom shader.

I doubt Gamebryo would be able to light a cell with actual light sources, too expensive. Edit: ENB lights are not ambient light. Ambient light shines on everything, and has no point origin. The sun could be ambient light as its so far away it might as well not have a point origin. Edited January 14, 2025 by traison
