[Fixed] Unexplainable Game Startup issue with SexlabDefeat on SE 1.6.1170

After successfully installing Sexlab, SOS, SLAnimLoader, FNIS and a bunch of other mods (tested and working), I installed SexLabDefeat (recent one offered here), the game won't even start!

 

When removing *SexLabDefeat.esp from the plugin.txt, the game loads fine.

 

When adding it back, the black prompt flashes briefly, then nothing. Sometimes the game runs in the background (I can see it in Task Manager)

 

What up?

 

• I run Skyrim SE 1.6.1170 on the D:\ drive
• latest SKSE
• SexLabs 1.66b as recommended here
• manual mod install (I know I know, bad etc...)
• I'm very experienced with Fallout 4 modding, but entirely new to Skyrim modding.

Nevermind. Fixed. There was a stray SaxLabDefeat.bsa from the V5 version that confused the game.

I was being a dipshit, thus
