Crash on character creation when changing to female character

So I posted an issue the other day and thought it was one thing, but now I know it's not so now I have a problem and I'm not sure what is causing it.

 

I crash on character creation when changing to female character. I can start the game as male, I can view female characters, all the animations are working without a hitch, nothing about female characters causes me to crash once I'm in the game, but if I switch to them on the creation menu then I get a no-error ctd.

 

I thought it had to do with skeletons but I don't think it does.  I thought it had to do with meshes but I don't think it does. I thought it had to do with animations but I don't think it does. I'm out of ideas at this point. Anyone else have some?

Yes, I'm using hair mods. This worked.

 

Anyone else feel like they have more fun trying to get Skyrim not to crash under the weight of all your mods than actually playing the game itself? :v
