meow135 Posted January 2, 2025 Posted January 2, 2025 I've been working on a new project and I'm having a problem when converting. The sleeves are getting stretched when I move the slider. Does anyone know what is going wrong? Spoiler Spoiler Â
South8028 Posted January 2, 2025 Posted January 2, 2025 (edited) You either copy the weights from the hips or select small Search Radius/Max Vertex Targets values when defining the sliders. Check. If there are no extra bones, then select the slider values 20 and 20, for example. Edited January 2, 2025 by South8028 1
meow135 Posted January 3, 2025 Author Posted January 3, 2025 Try as I may, I'm still getting the same results. I've edited the bone weights manually and found some of the leg and butt bones were adding weight to the sleeves. Corrected the issue, or so I thought, conformed all with the recommended settings and still no dice.
meow135 Posted January 3, 2025 Author Posted January 3, 2025 To add, I'm porting from SkyrimSE to Fallout. I'm not sure if this makes a difference.
South8028 Posted January 3, 2025 Posted January 3, 2025 After you have edited the bones, you need to run slider>Conform Selected. Otherwise, the changes will not be saved in the project.
meow135 Posted January 4, 2025 Author Posted January 4, 2025 I used "Conform All" after adjusting the bone weights. I will try again using the "Conform Selected" option.
meow135 Posted January 14, 2025 Author Posted January 14, 2025 (edited) I used the other method as well and no change. Seems like a vertex issue, not really a big deal. I just moved the sleeves manually, though it doesn't look perfect, it's good enough for me. (edit) Thanks for trying. Edited January 14, 2025 by meow135
meow135 Posted February 10, 2025 Author Posted February 10, 2025 Okay, so I've figured it out. To do this, a full body with hand bones is required. I used CBBE Shaper helper, even though I use FG, and converted just the arms using the "Full Body" reference.
