coopycarbonara Posted January 1, 2025 Posted January 1, 2025 Is it possible to somehow use both together? Sexlabs doesn't seem to be able to modify penises from More Nasty Critters/Animated Beast Cock, which is presenting some issue with trying to adjust their penises for sex. The New Gentleman's penises are still editable with Sexlabs, however they don't have a penis for werewolves. Schlongs of Skyrim is outdated but has several uh. Ports and fixes. But I'd rather use The New Gentleman for humanoids, and in all honesty... I do prefer the humanoid penis that SoS added as an option for Werewolves. Is it possible to use SOS + TNG and have TNG overwrite SOS for humanoids? I imagine that if that IS possible, I'd have to place TNG above (below? i don't know which one causes it to be loaded after another mod...) so that way TNG replaces SOS, but the big question remains - is that even possible?

Because SOS is built differently. ABC as far as I know only has bones for animators to use, these are not wired up like the ones in SOS. SL sends out an animation event called SOSFastErect. They're not meant to be adjusted, so if you're seeing misalignment it's because of something else: Animations were aligned for some other body meshes. Animations weren't made that accurately. Generally older animations are more inaccurate, most likely because back then accuracy didn't really matter. You don't have even actor height checked in SL. Your SL animation offesets are just wrong, reset them. You're playing animations on uneven ground, this doesn't always work. Animations are typically made to align with SOS as well, it is the de facto standard for male bodies afterall. Fair enough. SOS is capable of adjusting dongs per-race so I suppose its a question of whether TNG can do the same. Typically higher load priority is lower down in a load order list. Higher is lower. An easier way to think of it is chronological order. Start from the top and move down. The first mod gets overwritten by the 2nd mod. The 2nd mod gets overwritten by the 3rd, and so on. You wouldn't want either to replace the other if you want features from both. The answer you're looking for is in your mod manager: Does SOS overwrite files from TNG? Does TNG overwrite files from SOS? The rest can be figured out in xEdit: Does SOS overwrite records in TNG? Does TNG overwrite recrods in SOS? If the answer to all of those is no, then the load order doesn't matter and the final answer to all your questions is: "Can TNG be configured to not affect the same races as SOS?" Ohhh, makes sense Quote They're not meant to be adjusted, so if you're seeing misalignment it's because of something else: Animations were aligned for some other body meshes. The biggest problem I think is all the animations are meant for a man and a woman 😓 unfortunately that's not what i want Quote Safe to assume then it works like SOS, or perhaps uses SOS as a framework? Is SOS a requirement for TNG? Nope, it's not a requirement Quote But apart from some moments in history where its dll was incompatible, still works fine as far as I know. Animations are typically made to align with SOS as well, it is the de facto standard for male bodies afterall. Makes sense. I figured they were, and TNG seems to be very similar placement-wise and uses the standard SoS sizes Quote Typically higher load priority is lower down in a load order list. Higher is lower. An easier way to think of it is chronological order. Start from the top and move down. The first mod gets overwritten by the 2nd mod. The 2nd mod gets overwritten by the 3rd, and so on. I guess I can give it an install and see what happens Quote You wouldn't want either to replace the other if you want features from both. I unfortunately have no idea how to use xEdit, so I guess it's time for me to hunt down a tutorial 😅 Thank you for answering!
