Currently changes the title screen and shop sign, adds 2 new deck skins, changes 56 Jokers, 7 decks, 1 Tarot, 4 Planets, 7 Spectrals, Stickers, several names which includes hand, rarity, debuff, and edition names. Several Config Options Don't like one of these changes? Turn it off and enjoy the rest. Click Mods > Balustro > Config. This is for the Steamodded 1.0.0 Alpha. To install Steamodded 1.0.0 Alpha: Steamodded - Download the .zip file from the green button above the file area which says "<>Code", from here: Lovely Injector - Download the latest release, which is currently 0.5.0-beta5 - Earlier versions will not work. Create a Mods folder inside of your AppData/Roaming/Balatro folder. You can use Win+R, and then input %appdata% to reach your AppData folder. Put the Steamodded-main folder from your downloaded .zip file into the Mods folder. The Mods folder will also be where you put any other mods. On Steam, click the settings for Balatro, Browse Local Files, and drop the version.dll from Loveky Injector's .zip into this folder. Now you can add more mods and play modded Balatro. Steamodded 1.0.0 is in Alpha - Things are constantly changing, updates are frequent, and new features are still being regularly added, I've seen it changing around every 3 days - I recommend updating Steamodded with the same process as installing every time you update mods - If any mods try to use new features on an outdated version that doesn't have them, it'll be very likely to crash, and even if it doesn't crash, you won't be able to use those features. Sarobando Posted January 18, 2025 Posted January 18, 2025 Mod works 99% perfectly so I'm pretty sure I've gotten all my installs right. There's just two things that seem a bit messed up: 1. The wild card modifier (from The Lovers tarot) just. Does not do anything anymore. It definitely doesn't count them for calculating Flush, didn't manage to find out yet if they still get counted as like, "modified" for the sake of things like Driver's License. Speaking of-- 2. Driver's License seems eternally stuck at thinking there's 0 modified cards, no matter how many modified cards are actually in the deck. Couple weird little things. Other than that everything's amazing ^_^b

Other than that everything's amazing ^_^b This mod shouldn't affect anything like that, I assume you're using a recent version of steamodded - Update SMODS again to see if they noticed the issue and patched it, but if it still persists, I'll bring it to their attention and you can use https://github.com/Steamodded/smods/releases/tag/old-calc instead, it's a slightly older, but pretty stable release of SMODS.

Aha, you know, I saw the thing about how the previous version was more stable and I was like "Ahh it's probably fine, the mods I'm getting are updated" but lo and behold, going back to old-calc SMODS totally fixed everything lol My B for popping up here blaming you, this was the only mod I tried with SMODS (literally installed it yesterday lol). Thanks for the help ^_^b

I think making alternate male versions of the playing cards is great, but maybe they shouldn't replace the high-contrast cards meant for people with visual impairments. Make the male versions a separate skin instead of the alt to the female ones. As some things you don't have to add but would be something I would personally enjoy, I would like the choice to go back to the featureless silhouette versions of the playing cards and a version that mixes male and female, with the Ace and Queen being female and the King and Jack being male. Also, I don't know if this is intentional, but when switching between the clubs and diamond cards in the customize deck menu, I noticed the king card has a slightly upscaled lower half. Lot of notes here, most of these will already likely be addressed - there aren't any plans for a specific low/high contrast version, there weren't any before, they are going to lean into high contrast though. In fact, the artist working on the high contrast cards is colorblind himself, so I'm pretty sure he'll ensure the colors feel different, it'll probably be brought up and changed if they're too similar. Also, there's plans to be 4, possibly 5 different skins, normal, futa, freaky, which will contain more artistic, but not exactly sexual art, like, the biggest example is the idea to give Diamonds an eyeball in their pussy, and male. The fifth one that's been discussed relates to what you said about mixed genders, although rather than ranks, it'd be based on suits, as each suit is going to be a singular character. But, about the point with 5 separate skins - it'll heavily bloat the menu and make it hard to navigate with 5 different skins, having 1 skin with 5 possible variants just feels a lot nicer. In regards to the featureless silhouette, someone on Nexus already brought it up, they're kind of already there, no reason not to kind of archive them as a separate skin. They probably won't get all the gendered and extra variants though. But, they'll be added as an option in the next update, so they'll be preserved. Also, yeah, noticed the diamond as well as well, it's just a WIP thing. 1

Need help I also got the same error but from just hovering over the alt texture button in the config, you can manually edit the config in the mods file given you want the change. from what I can make out from the error it's failing to create a table due either from a null reference or an updated function having an additional requirement Edited January 26 by LosT-T
GeneralInternet Posted April 16 Posted April 16 Im having issues where despite saying it has loaded the mod correctly, it is not loading any of the textures or even allowing me to go into the mod config, just showing what is attatched. I have tried reinstalling the mod, i have tried verifying game files, ive tried reinstalling smod and lovely, but nothing works
