Crash during character creation

Recommended Posts

I wanted to start a new game (for various reasons), but now the game crashes in the middle of character creation. No idea how that happens but nothing seems to trigger it. It seems to happen after 30 seconds or so.

Here's the crash report. https://pastebin.com/g06vQVHB

If you need more info, just ask.

Thanks in advance.

File: "CaN - Player Pony.esp"

Try to disable this .esp

Edit: checked the mod, it's a custom race...You should check compatibility for your race and all requirements. And load order makes sense as well

OK. I managed to get the game working (thanks to the presets I made previously. Changing the appearance afterwards doesn't crashes the game. Only on the initial start).

Problem is, I now have a constant crash at a certain point past the bridge to Sanctuary Hills. Teleporting using console commands shoed that this is definitely the place that's bugged. But I'm wondering what caused this.

Previsibines Repair Pack. prp.esp. Check this one. This mod caused crashes for me as well

indeed i tried Prp and removed it because my game was unstable. Now i'm only using Elfx Previs and i have no issue with it (needs ELFX of course)

Well... it actually worked. The crash is gone.

Guess I'll have to either look for an alternative or wait for the next major version (they're apparently planning a major rewrite).

Edit: Completely on a whim. I put back the PRP mod and it doesn't crash anymore. Lots of objects popping in and out, but no crash. Weird...

Edit2: And crash again. Removing it from my load order for now.
