Getting into modding

Hey DOA community, as the title suggests I want to start getting into modding DOA 5. I want to learn to edit existing mods and official models and eventually learn to create mods. However, I have next to no knowledge of the process besides viewing and playing around with models in the LR Photo Studio, opening a few bins with the Archive Tool and attempting to make edits to pre-existing mods (shoutout funnybunny666). If anyone has the time to share their knowledge I'd appreciate your help.
