SkyrimVR - invisible messageboxes in main menu / loadscreens

Hi,

 

I think I've had this problem since I started playing in VR. Whenever I get a messagebox popping up in main menu or before loading screens, I cannot see it, and can't continue until I confirm / select something. So far it was only the "missing plugin" notifications when loading a save during testing, which I knew about, but since some time now I get some notification as soon as I get to the main menu, before I even load something.

 

Is there a way to make these boxes visible, or at least figure out what Skyrim is trying to tell me so I can fix it?
