Looking for things that use to be there

Hello all.  I've been playing Sims 4 for a while now.  I'll play, stop for a few months, remove everything in the mod folder and re-download needed files (MCCC, WW, XML, etc) and look for new and old stuff.  I know these functions was in the game before, and I thought I used one in this go, but I can't seem to find these aspects.  I thought you could choose the population ratio, or whether you wanted 0% elders, or 100% females, etc.  Maybe even the percentage of boys to girls being born..  The other one is being able to set traits over all the current population.  Not sure if there is a way to do it for newborn sims (or new adults/teens the game creates) or not.  But, I had been able, I thought, to do something like that once this time through, but I can't remember how I did it.

The other thing I was wondering is there a way to keep the pop-up wheel from bringing option in from other menus?  What I mean by that, is I sometimes get random greetings (flirty, mean, happy, etc) on the first level, when there is another menu on a different page that has it and one or two more choices.  This doesn't just pertain to greetings.  It happens to many other choices as well, especially the Kritical Dreams of Surrender mod.  I constantly get the first page filled up when I click on a sim I have a contract with on rules to give/take away from them.  And those same choices are under the "Master" tab on the wheel.  I'm just wondering if there is a mod that will not have all the duplicate choices appear, which seems to remove choices that could or need to be used for a task.

I'm not sure, as I haven't tried it, but for the pop-up wheel thing, I think if you select "traditional social menu" in the in-game settings, it'll change it so those options don't appear at first and you'll only get the sub-menus.

For the population thing, you can find those options in the MCCC population settings. Just remember the only way (AFAIK) to access the full MCCC settings is through an in-game computer. There's a guide here, and if you scroll down a bit it'll show how to set percentages by age and such.
