On the Trail quest bug

Yo guys, I’m currently doing quest mentioned in title and I’m in phase where I need to speak with Khajit Tzollaman and take Vess with me. I had some problem with bandits just before, so I just slaughter them and make Vess talk, but there is not such an option right now. When I’m trying to speak with him he says, that he doesn’t know anything about it and that I need to come without my companions. Thing is I have only Vess by my side which is part of the quest and no one else. I thought it’s some dispute between Vilja mod which was waiting for me in home and this mod, so I told her i need to be alone and nothing. After that I turned the whole mod off and loaded little bit older safe, but it didn’t help as well. I’m sure I have noone else following me at this time and even mod shows me 0 followers, did anyone of you had some problem or possibly knowing some solution?
