Romantic Boundaries & turning off jealousy

Quick question, does anyone know if turning off jealousy with the relationship boundaries feature is supposed to prevent any romantic relationship decay if they witness their spouse/partner being with another person? I'm aware of the polyamorous perk with WW that prevents all jealousy, relationship decay, etc. with group relationships but I'm just curious the specifics about the romantic boundaries feature. I know WW can affect jealousy, does anyone know if there's any conflict between the romantic boundaries and WW?

I'm pretty sure that WW can turn off the idiotic "Romantic Boundaries". I have no idea why the morons at Maxis made everyone jealous by default - maybe because they are all women with blue hair that nobody wants to fuck...

 

But there is a setting within WW that turns that stupid shit off.

Does going into CAS and change the Romantic Boundaries not working for you?

Or for everyone in general, isn't that feature suppose to work?

I have no idea what exactly it's supposed to do. I've changed the jealousy feature for several people, and it doesn't really do anything in my opinion. I was wanting to have one person be non-jealous and be more open to his partner messing around. However, when his partner messes around he always flips out and immediately their romance relationship meter goes to zero. I don't have an issue with the guy flipping out, getting angry, or jealous, but I don't want the relationship meter to be destroyed. It makes no sense. Why would the game say he's open to it but then kills the relationship when his partner engages in it. What's the point of having a non-jealous option if it doesn't do anything? I didn't know if anyone else was using this feature or had a different experience.

I won't argue with you there. I was just hoping for an immersive way to incorporate a jealous/non-jealous option. Personally, I think just giving out wicked attributes like polyamorous, cuckold, etc. seems a little like cheating.

I do like the jealous trait. Don't need all the CAS crap that makes every Sim jealous for any reason. Every Sim hates every other Sim for no reason outside of EA being lazy as eff. I already have the jealous trait. I do NOT need automatic jealousy and I do not need to click on shit. I already have carpal tunnel.

 

This game has turned into total garbage since HSY was released. According to Steam I have 14,576.3 hours in this broken joke of a garbage game. I know how it WAS and what it IS. I want my fucking money back. But EA needs that Blackrock money and they'll be gone in a few years when they can't pay back the DEI loans.

It works fine but why should I have to click on useless shit? That is bad programming and horrible game design. My hand hurts. I do not want to click on tiny hidden buttons. I just want big tits and a fat ass. I recently bought ESIV: Oblivion for the forth time. I'm going to play and mod that. This broken joke of a game is a wash. The Sim 4 is complete trash.
