Using My Previously Created Character For New Game

Hi, Is there a way to import one of my previously created characters for a new game? I only want to import the character appearance so I don't care about my character level,items,story progress etc.

If you are using Racemenu you can save the preset of your character

I tried Racemenu but I just can't load the preset on a new game.

I tried Enhanced Character Edit too but character just looks different when I open race menu

Someone please correct me if I am wrong here, but I believe.

 

1)Go in game on existing character and open console

2)type spf (YourCharactersName)

3)Open creation kit with Skyrim.esm and update.esm checked.

4)Save a new plug-in,esp any name will do it wont have much in it.

5)Edit one of the Preset characters for your race.

6)Under the Character Gen Parts tab click on import and select your saved characters name.

7)click ok to close the character then save and quit.

8)Ensure your newly created esp is active

9)Start your new game and your "saved" character will now be one of your presets.

You can leave the mod you created active with no problems or de-activate it and do a clean save afterwards no problem.
