Starfield 4K native + RTX 4090 + Ryzen 9800X3D = Phenomenal Gaming Experience!

To date, I have used an i7-12700K processor, with DDR4 3200MHz, CL16 memory, along with an RTX 4090 to play Starfield in 4K. As the monitor I use is G-Sync compatible, the VRR is always active and I thought it was impossible to do better, taking into account that at native 4K resolution (no, I never use DLSS!) the theory said that the bottleneck in this game it was the video card, not this processor and memories.

Long story short, I bought a 9800X3D, which I'm using right now to write this message! What was the first thing I did? Try Starfield, just to confirm that this processor wouldn't make any difference, as the bottleneck is the graphics card. At most, it would get half a dozen more frames in some places.

I don't know how many more frames I can get with this 9800X3D processor, but I know that it makes a huge difference even in Starfield at 4K. Image movement is free from any hesitation or hiccups! It’s simply fabulously fluid!

How you explain this, I don't know, I just know that it is!

Starfield was the game where I thought this processor would make almost no difference, because I play it in native 4K, and after all it makes all the difference! That alone was worth (to me) all the money I had to pay for it, plus the motherboard and new memories. I only regret not having experienced Starfield with this fluid image since the first day I bought this game, because the pleasure of playing has increased a lot!

In the meantime, I leave you with the experience of playing this game at 8K. Bring on the RTX 7090!

Careful! There's nudity! But if you frequent this forum, this shouldn't be a problem for you.
