AAF and MCM problem

Hello, I'm new to the world of fallout mods, I thought I had done a clean job but when loading the various mods AAF_violate warns me of the following error " aff-violate: Please re-install Mod configuration Menu. Reset AAF_violate's MCM to get the MCM working".
Im using vortex and i tried to reinstall the mcm but it still doesn't work, i guess i'm missing something with the second part of the error but i dont know how to reset the AAF MCM if i dont get the MCM working in game.
all ideas are welcome and thanks in advance!

I can only guess, but it sounds like the MCM Version doesnt match the game version. There are two files, one for the old FO4 version and one for the new FO Update.

is it the 1.39 version that doesn't work or 1.40.
