ORomance Plus is installed but pressing K does nothing.

I have checked in the MCM menu, the ORomance interaction button is K. But when I target an NPC and press K, nothing happens. I have followed the ORomance installation mod and plugin order to a t. I have even made a new save. But nothing is happening. I'm seeing some other people on IWant Widgets discussions having the same problem with ORomance, but I can't find any solution. It could be an IWant Widgets problem too. If you guys have any ideas, please help.

Papyrus log should be the first thing to check.

How would I understand what's the problem? Should I check what the log says while I press K?

  1. Enable Papyrus logging.
  2. Locate the install directory of ORomance and make a list of all script files.
  3. Extract any BSA files belonging to ORomance and make a list of all script files, merge this into the existing list.
  4. Start the game.
  5. Let things settle for 30 seconds.
  6. Press 'K'.
  7. Quit the game.
  8. Open the Papyrus log.
  9. Look for errors from any of the script files you found earlier.

Thank you very much! I found the error with this method. IWant Widgets was having a problem. Apparently, the esl couldn't load the scripts properly. So I had to use esl flagged esp. That worked.
