Hair keeps reloading/reapplying every ingame hour

I'm having a strange issue. My character's hair keeps resetting its physics every time I:

• Load a save
• Fast travel
• Wait one hour
• Play one hour (so every hour it is reset)
• EDIT: Also happens when going into/out of combat, but don't know if its related to the hourly stuf

 

I think the entire haircut is reloaded/reapplied (it doesn't change the haircut) or something because it causes 2 significant freezes (with complex hair like Dint hairpack).

The freezes wouldn't be such an issue if it didn't happen so often, but its a problem when it happens so often.

I have looked at most of my mods but I can't find a reason why the game does this reset. Also disabled the mods that change/check hair every so often or that could trigger a nioOverride update, but none of it helped.
