Game sometimes going to blackscreen on load or new game, though still with sound

As said in the title, the game will sometimes blackscreen when I load a save, or when I start a new game. Sound will still play though. It happens frequently enough to be annoying, but not everytime.

When googling for similar issues, I found quite a few threads about this all saying its a problem with the game loading scripts too fast, and that bethesda would fix it. These treads were from years ago though, so Id assume theyd have fixed this by now (Im playing on the most recent version of the game).

This is my first time modding SE, I have stayed on LE for years before, so its entirely possible that I made some mistakes when setting up my game, especially with the somewhat confusing differences with SE and AE and different versions. So if there is any common errors people do or must have patches or settings to use, Id appreciate any hints. I'll attach my load order just in case.

Not gonna find a problem like this without a debugger. The short of it is, it's going to be far easier and faster to rip your setup apart.

I have a similar set-up and problem. The only thing that remedy the issue was removing populated skyrim mods. I replaced them with Baka's version, with hair/face patch here on LL, and only enable hold NPC's now.

Suspecting mods that alter the game data is probably the way to go with freezes, however that's a broad category.

 

The Populated -series of mods unfortunately seem to have issues yes. Another that keeps showing up is the Wenches -series. The issue may not be specifically in these mods themselves but rather some unfortunate combination. Personally I've had Populated Roads for a long time and my only issue with it is the unbalanced (non-leveled) NPCs.
