sotenn Posted December 16, 2013 Posted December 16, 2013 Just to say I am very new to the modding thing so if this is a bit noob and wasting peoples time then I apologise, I downloaded the FNIS behaviour, creature and spell pack, unpacked them using 7zip into my skyrim data folder. I then proceeded to download sexlab framework, sexlab defeat, sexlab sexchat and the radiant prostitution, I then tried to run the FNIS generator for new mods and all I get is this. >>warning: bad installation. generator not run from a Skyrim installation directory.<< FNIS behavious v4.1 16/12/2013 00:16:49 Skyrim: ??.?? - Generator: C:\program files (x86)\steam\steamapps\common\skyrim\data\fnis behaviour 4.1\data\tools\generateFNIS_for_users Skeleton female: default (99bones) male: default (99 bones) Patch: "SKELETON Arm fix" >>Warning: 1 non-FNIS behaviour files in meshes\character\behaviours. They CAN be the cause of Skyrim incompatability:<< 0_master.hkx Reading FNIS ... Reading FNISBase ... All Anim Lists scanned. Generating Behaviour Files... Converting Behaviour Files (.xml to .hkx) ... Creature Pack not installed 373 animations for 2 mods successfully included (characters) 2 Warning(s). I'm really sorry if there is a lot of superfluous information there but like I said I'm a total novice at modding and would really appreciate some help.
shane4244 Posted December 16, 2013 Posted December 16, 2013 ">>warning: bad installation. generator not run from a Skyrim installation directory.<<" "Generator: C:\program files (x86)\steam\steamapps\common\skyrim\data\fnis behaviour 4.1\data\tools\generateFNIS_for_users" which seems to indicate the correct location for skyrim if you look at the folder structure you have 2 data folders should only be one the one directly after skyrim move everything that you have in your secound data folder to the skyrim directory. Edit: I see what you did it looks like you droped the Unpacked Fnis behaviour folder directly into the data folder when you only needed to drop the data folder for FNIS behaviour into the skyrim directory. When installing mods make sure to look at the folder structure before installing them.
sotenn Posted December 16, 2013 Author Posted December 16, 2013 got it thank you shane4244 you are a legend.
