Can someone explain why pregnancy option gives me failure message when household setting is set to more than 8? I'm using nraas mods and when trying to impregnate a sim I get "not enough room". 😳

NRaas Master Controller, when set to "allow more than 8 sims", only impacts features of the game that NRaas has directly modded. NRaas directly mods: using NRaas "Add Sim" to add another sim to a house, and using NRaas "Pollinate" to get a sim pregnant. The default setting is to allow more than 8.

 

If you have NRaas Master Controller Integration, then you can also create families in CAS with up to 10 sims.

 

If you have WooHooer, then using Try For Baby (or risky woohoo) can get a sim pregnant when there are already 8 or more sims in the house and you allow more than 8 with Master Controller.

 

If you are trying to get your sim pregnant any other way, such as using KW's pregnancy, then the NRaas settings are not recognized, and it will use the default EA settings of max of 8 sims in the house.

 

What I usually do when I want my sims to get pregnant while I'm using KW or Passion, is to use NRaas Pollinate or CmarNYC pregnancy controller to make the sim pregnant, but I make the sims have animated woohoo first. I also like to use a random number generator to decide if they get pregnant or not, because using these mods will make the sim get pregnant, with no chance of failure, and I like to make them have to try a few times occasionally.
