I've been playing with a downgraded Skyrim for over a year and decided to upgrade/update it to the  SE/AE 1.6.11.70 version, so the last couple of days I've been updating all of my mods.

But now the game crashes 1 second after I've gotten to the player creation-thingy. I'm using Alternate Starts so in other words the game is crashing as soon as it has loaded in.

I've tried to check my crash logs and papyrus logs but don't understand them at all, all I know is that the papyrus log has a lot of errors in it.

I know I must have forgotten to update one or more of my mods but I have no idea which ones. If that's not the problem I have no idea what is.

Please help me.

(Btw, I'm using FNIS, not Nemesis, if that matters.)

Same issue as here.

You need to sort out your Papyrus situation. You have over 2000 errors about missing scripts and properties.

I've been using 90% of my mods for years only changing some of the sl ones and I've never had any major issues before.

And I've never checked out my papyrus logs before so I don't know if the errors in them have always been in them or just now after the updates. And I have no idea how to find out which mods responsible for the errors. Is there any way to find that out, an easy way for a papyrus-noob?

I installed ConsoleUtil NG and now I get into the game but my character is T-posing. I know that it has something to do with animations but how do I find out which ones?

I'm using FNIS and get warnings saying that some of my (updated) animations are not for SE even though they are according to the descriptions on their pages. I thought the warnings were caused by FNIS not being updated since the creator finished it, that it warns about SE/AE animations because of that but... maybe I'm wrong.

Well, lets use an example:

Spoiler

Error: Script CuC_QF_CuCTrainingHandler_060853C9 cannot be bound to CuCTrainingHandler (2F000D08) because the script does not exist or is not currently loaded

Several hints in this one:

  1. CuC?
  2. QF?
  3. CucTrainingHandler?
  4. Mod index 2F?

You answered your own question.

Finished does not mean broken or abandoned.

I never said it does, that's why I thought that the warnings in FNIS wasn't an issue. I thought the reasons for FNIS's warnings about the animations not being SE was because FNIS's latest version was made for SE and my game is SE/AE.

I thought it was animations only because that's something I downloaded from here in SL and not on Nexus.

Pandora fixed the T-posing, but it doesn't really matter because my game is f*cked anyway. It CTD's when I try to save.

Now I'm trying to figure out what's causing it.

Anyways, thanks for your help with the CTD at the startup. 😃

  3. CucTrainingHandler?

And btw, those hints tell me nothing, I don't understand them at all.

I've never checked out a crash log or papyrus log until now.

  1. Go through your mod list, got anything that could have the initials "CuC"?
  2. Same deal as #1 but for "QF".
  3. Same deal as #1.
  4. Query your mod manager for plugin index 0x2F.

None of my plugins in Vortex has 0x2F index. All if them have numbers or FE(numbers).

So the CuC abd QF are initials of mods? I didn't know that. Thank you.

But what to do if I find them (or others showing up in the logs)? Should I check their descriptions for required mods and/or incompability?

I usually do that before installing mods but of course I could have missed one/some.

Thanks again, for all of your help!

There is no rule that says so, but people do not tend to not put random letters in front of their script names from what I've seen so far.

Only need to figured out why it can't find the script. Maybe the mod has a bug, missing a file. Maybe you installed it wrong. Maybe you deleted it. A hundered reasons for why it might be missing.

Keep in mind that once you figure out why this one script is gone, you got about 1999 more to go through. This was only one of the 2000+ mentioned in your log.

Yeah... A lot of them are from Pahe according to some threads here on SL, so I guess I have to wait for an update. =(
