[XCL] Alcohol Additions


This is a work in progress.

 

Have you ever found yourself hiding at home when you are on a breeder or other pill until it expires?

Did you ever find it strange that there were no consequences to getting drunk every night?

 

This is my first mod, which introduces an alcoholic side effect, which results in a compulsion to drink more.

 

I still need to work on balancing this out a lot more and potentially start using the new compulsions.

Hey, I think there is a mistake in total alcohol calculations:
 

(if:$day_of_week is "Monday")[(set:$aa_total_alcohol_monday to it + ($character's "alcohol consumed"))]

should remove "it + ", because ($character's "alcohol consumed") already contains total daily amount, and atm the player gets addicted after a few drinks.
I also moved addiction calculations to [nightly] passage and made them based to 2 weeks instead of 1, because it's more realistic (and there are variables for that in your code), but haven't thoroughly tested it yet^^

at the moment wont use it cause it demands to get drunk, not tipsy, and doesnt let me leave, which could have at least some checks, like will check, or action point price. but without it its not usable yet
