Part 2

"Sorry to have kept you waiting so long, 'my queen'." an all to familiar voice said, breaking the silence Elisif had welcomed. Mostly because it meant her captor was too busy elsewhere to further humiliate and abuse her, something the horned elf took great pleasure in.

Elisif hadn't heard anyone approach and was taken by complete surprise when her tormentor stood in front of her once again.
C5k3AIQ.png

"My new pets have demanded most of my attention, I'm afraid. But I haven't forgotten about you. In fact, I have a surprise for you!" the dunmer continued. "To make up for my neglect of you, we're gonna have a little bit of fun." Noticing her emphasis on fun brought no comfort to the nord, instead making her dread what was coming next.
WdMgzdK.png

"Don't worry, I won't participate." the dark elf said as she noticed the worry spreading across her prisoner's face. "No, this one is all for you. I'll just hang back and make sure nothing goes wrong. We wouldn't want your pretty little self mangled and torn apart just yet, would we?" she cooed as she brought a crop into view in her hand.
dQZqYmO.png

A soft and discomforting hum could be heard making its way closer and closer towards their position. The Jarl stared in horror as an apparition straight from Oblivion hovered over the stairs as it ascended. The noise it emitted crept inside her mind and prevented her from thinking clearly as everything around her became muddled.
BJ3NTcq.png

The next thing she knew, the crop in the dark elf's hand forced her chin up towards her. Hadn't it been for the horns and her twisted personality, Elisif would have found her rather pretty.
"Hey now, focus!" her captor commanded. For some reason, her voice cut straight through the humming, "By now, you must have figured out this is a Seeker from the Oblivion realm. More specifically Hermaerus Mora's plane. They possess strong magic by their own rights, but that isn't why I've summoned it."
IGPRLrg.png

"These things sport rather curious tentacles and with the right mindset they can bring you great pleasure." Torygg's widowed wife couldn't believe what she was hearing. Not only would her severed head serve as the means for her perverted jailer to gain tremendous power, but she was going to humiliate her in every way until then. And by such a creature. A daedra!
QDmRh9c.png

An invisible force drew her towards the Seeker. Tentacles wrapped around her body as her face met its. Black eyes probed her very being as its tentacles made their way towards her lower half. Unable to move a muscle, most likely due to its magical powers, the Jarl could do nothing as the biggest of the appendages began to play with her vulva.
nbFADnJ.png

Against her will, she found herself getting more aroused by the second. She hated it. The thought that such an evil creature could make her feel this way. Throwing a quick glance towards the elf, she was even more disgusted as the scantily clad woman had begun to rub herself to the scene playing in front of her.
60suiBj.png

"That looks so good. I really envy you." the elf moaned as Elisif watched her in disgust. Unable to control herself, she ran her other hand down towards her nether region as well. "You two look great together!"
3WNfv4h.png
TJUGpAm.png

The dunmer matched their pace and soon found herself close to climax. The daedra's humming was now so loud that Elisif couldn't even hear her moans or anything else for that matter. The only thing confirming she was still concious was her rapists demonic face right in front of her and its forceful tentacles thrusting into her. But even those senses began to dull down, her vision began to swim as white light was all she could now see.

ldVm6u9.png

"That's enough!" cried the dark elf. "Stop, I said!" she repeated as a spell formed in her hand.

tVWaGOd.png

"Know your place, insect!" A red aura enveloped the daedra as it dropped its victim in shock. It acted surprisingly fast as before Elisif had a chance to touch the ground it had already begun to cast a counter spell to defend itself as it turned toward its attacker.

Q20KaLW.png

But not fast enough. Before it had a chance to release the spell, it was already dead. The last of its life force was sucked up by the dark elf as it fell toward the ground, lifeless.

AYOi3Zl.png

"Tch! Cocky bastard, know your place." she said to the dead demon laying next to her prized prisoner. The Jarl had lost all her strength and it was a struggle to even breathe. "I'll heal you up before we begin with the next one." she assured the exhausted Jarl.

"Get up here!" she yelled as she turned toward the stairs where the Seeker had appeared from minutes ago.

ZDT8snN.png

Heavy footsteps began to make their way up the stairs before she had even finished her sentence. Smiling, the elf once again faced toward her prisoner laying still on the ground. "This next one will make up for it all, I swear. And I'll be sure to keep you alive as there are still a dozen more creatures to go through, all with their unique abilities that you've never experienced before." she gleefully said.

n1XOFo7.png

"I think it's your turn to experience something new, elf." a deep voice remarked. Stunned, the pale dunmer spun around to face this new intruder.

RTfJLM5.png

"I've come to bring Elisif, Balgruuf and Ulfric back to their rightful places." the warrior continued. "I advise you to surrender before it is too late if you value your life." He spoke with confidence, as if he'd already won the battle.

UipOpNz.png

"I don't remember inviting someone so droll. But now that you're here, I can't let you leave alive." the dark elf said, ignoring his previous comments. "The fact that you found this place and dared approach me proves you're either the king of all fools or delusional enough to believe you can best me"

KGvXHgZ.png

"I can assure you, I am neither. You face the dragonborn, slayer of dragons. What chance do you think a measly dunmer, however skilled in sorcery she is, stands before a warrior who has slain and absorbed the souls of countless dragons?"

"The armor you wear speaks volume of you, but not of a warrior, but a fool." she dryly answered. "To face me equipped with the bones of dragons fashioned in armor and weapons is the last mistake you'll ever make!" she said, her eyes flaring with power and rage.

"This is your last chance, stand down and surrender yourself!"

Part 3

"I'd say the same thing to you, but that's just not my style. Instead, I'll pummel you into submission like the rest of them!"
PoIPMrO.png
bPmMWGm.png

"I'd like to see you try, witch!" shouted the dragonborn as he charged with his sword held high, ready to cleave the sorceress in two. As the warrior brought his sword down upon the dark elf, she conjured a magical shield in the blink of an eye, completely neutralizing his attack.
"A valiant effort, but futile!" she snidely replied as the man struggled to maintain his balance.
rFXOQey.png

The barrier flickered briefly as it was now only held up with one hand, whilst her right shone a bright red, sinister in glow. The same spell she had used to drain the life force of the Seeker moments ago.
"You'll have to do better than that!" shouted the man as he readied an arcing blow, his balance regained. "My equipment's crafted to reduce and destroy magical effects, you can't win!"
4QRAfDi.png

The dunmer knew his confidence wasn't misplaced. While her barrier had warded off his first strike, the next risked shattering it whole in its weakened state. As in slow motion, she saw the greatsword creep closer and closer toward her ward, aiming for her abdomen.
sn3Lkk5.png

Moments before it would hit its target, an overwhelming amount of magical power rushed through the dark elf. Leathery wings sprouted from her back and from them a shockwave erupted, knocking her opponent to his knee. His weapon dropped to the stone floor with a loud clang. As if a storm of bad weather had been contained in a magical bubble, it was released as the shockwave traveled and made its way towards the horizon and out of sight
6QiPf5L.png

The sunny weather was replaced by a magical storm. What should have been drops of water drizzling down from the sky were instead drops of pure magic, harmless to the elf but effectively slowing down the dragon slayer. "W-what, what is this sorcery?!" he cried.
rFZOi6R.png

"This, dragonborn, is power. Something you'll never attain no matter how many of my fellow dragons you slay." she answered with a growl.
WVdpU2B.png

The dunmer-dragon descended back towards the stone floor and landed in a kneeling position, most of her power spent.
"You're one of them?" the warrior said shocked. Try as he might, he could not fight against the forces holding him.
"In a manner of speaking." she replied, taking deep breaths to calm herself and regain her composure. "Information useless to you, however."
U6x5lay.png

As the downed warrior blinked, she had vanished. Only the unmoving Elisif and the elf's dead pet daedra remained in sight. A wave of tremendous pain suddenly burst from his back as a dagger, ebony in color, pierced his spine.
diosNiY.png

"Normally I'd kill you right now for what you've done, but I'd rather watch you suffer." her voice came from behind. With a steady grip on the weapon, she twisted it around as the man howled in pain. "For every soul you've consumed, I'll hurt you tenfolds. For every word of power you've learnt by imitating us, I'll hurt you a hundred times over."
fXHtL8D.png

The dagger retracted from the wound and with a flash of magic, it vanished into thin air.
"Every second you'll wish you were dead. Every thought solely longing for the sweet release of death. Every word uttered begging for the pain to stop. But I will never grant it to you. I am your warden, whose purpose is to watch you suffer for eternity." Every word she said was drenched in the deadliest of poison.
AjNkwD3.png

The dragonborn slowly and clumsily stood up, ready to make a last effort in hopes of defeating the dark elf. But as he looked down, his weapon was nowhere to be seen.

"Your fate is mine to decide now, worm." she replied to his unspoken question. "No heroic efforts. Only pain and suffering."

CKMwNSu.png

The last of his strength drained away as the chance of victory was held in his adversary's vile hands. With a thud, he fell to the ground, his stamina spent.

"Rest well. You won't get another chance again."

Very good. I am really enjoying these. I honestly didn't expect the dragonborn since I thought she was a corrupt dragonborn.

My second contribution. Since I'm gonna loose the internet for some time it's a bit shorter, I didn't have much time.

Nothing nsfw here. Just a little funny story involving my warrior and Heimskr.

DpX7NhX.jpg

That was actually very funny. Heimskr is one of the characters I love to hate and hate to love. I think you did a great job with this one.

Hi everybody! Here, I will put an index to the stories already released and a resume of each chapter´s plot. I will keep this updated as I release more stories. Below every image is a link to the actual chapter. No new stories today, sorry.

Every act/part it´s meant to be a subplot of the first book (Always on the Run) and they all move the story forward. Nevertheless, each act can be read separately almost as a standalone story.

00_Always_on_the_Run.png

ACT_1_Header.png

00_Header_CH1.png

[link] In this chapter our heroine, sort of, is introduced as she runs away from a pack of wolves that wants her for dinner. Finally reaching the safety of Riverwood. Poor lass.

00_Header_CH2_F.png

[link] Here, Adhunapel is confronted with the decision of what to do to survive. Out of options, she is offered a very special work at Delphine´s Inn.

00_3_5_Header.png

[link] This is Uncle_Sheo Story, where Lorelei meets Adhun and tryies to inspire her to overcome her adversities and become something more. This actually takes place in the middle of the next chapter. But this is the correct reading order.

00_Header_CH3_Innocence_Lost.png

[link] Out of options, Adhun fights between finding a way to survive and accepting Delphine´s indecent proposal. Which she finally does. At first all go well, but in the end everything gets out of control and Adhun must face one of the most traumatic and difficult moments of her life. A moment that will leave a mark on her forever.

ACT_2_Header.png

00_Sheeps_Lions.png

[link] Having committed murder, she's on the run again! She needs to escape! Then the story takes a step into her past, one month ago, as Adhun starts narrating Lucan Valerius how she ended up alone and lost in Skyrim after her caravan was attacked.

00_Header_CH5.png

[link] Immersed in Adhun´s recent past, in this chapter we see her as a noble traveling to Skyrim with her retinue. And an epic battle between stormcloaks and Imperials takes place. Roma, stormcloak second in command, leads the devastating attack.

00_Header_Chapter_06.png

[link] Adhun is taken as a political prisoner by the stormcloaks!

00_Header_CH07_Light_Darkness.png

[link] Back in the present, Adhun tells Lucan how she escaped the stormcloak imprisonment. Lucan gives her a very special gift and more about Adhun´s innate magic powers is revealed. In the end, bandits threaten the travelling couple.

Here is my Warcraft/Skryrim crossover story. Should I do more?

Nylev's Adventures Part 1

Nylev: "Oww my head. Where did that mage's portal send me now? Grr, I'm so tired of that little gnome screwing up his portal destinations! Last time I landed on an orcs dinner table and almost didn't make it out of Orgrimmar."
She looked around a bit more but couldn't place her location with one she knew.
2014_10_13_00001.jpg

"This looks like the Eastern Kingdoms but I don't recognize the area." Nylev pulled a small gem from her pouch and held it in her hand. It contained the corrupted soul of the dragon, Eranikus.
Eranikus: "Foolish mortal. You are lost."
"Correction, dragon. We are lost."
Eranikus grumbled something in frustration.
2014_10_13_00003.jpg

Nylev looked in the distance and noticed a small village.
2014_10_13_00002.jpg

The inhabitants seemed pleasant but it worried her that no one had heard the the Eastern Kingdoms. She was in some place called Skyrim. The gold she had with her was nearly useless but she traded all of it for a place to sleep for the night.
2014_10_13_00004.jpg

When she woke, he stomach was growling and she felt weak. She remembered seeing barrels of food laying around so she decided to help herself. "I'll pay them back when I get some local currency," she thought.
2014_10_06_00001.jpg

She cleaned out a couple of barrels and came to one with an odd lock on it. Using a fire spell, she was able to burn it off easily. When she cracked the lid a blast of magic slammed into her. Several strange restraints locked onto her body! She heard a voice, like a magical whisper say, "Finally caught you you damn thief. Enjoy your punishment. Hahaha. If by chance you are not the thief that has been raiding out food stores, tough luck. You shouldn't be stealing."
2014_10_06_00002.jpg

When her head cleared, she sat down and pondered how to remove the devices. After a short time, she decided to leave the village and head for Whiterun. She was told it was a trading city, maybe they'd have someway to take this off.
2014_10_06_00004.jpg

When she arrived in the city, she asked around and was directed to Belethor's shop. The entire time she got odd stares and glances but she sensed people were accustomed to seeing non humans.
2014_10_13_00006.jpg

She entered Belethor's shop and told him the problem.
"Sadly, my dear...umm...Drainis?"
"It's Draenei. It's not that hard. It's spelled just like it sounds."
"Okay, if you say so... Anyway, I can't remove those but this Imperial Armor may cover them up a bit," he said with a smirk.
2014_10_13_00007.jpg

She tried on the armor and it fit rather well.
2014_10_06_00005.jpg

Through a recommendation from Belethor, she got a job retrieving a dragonstone from a ruin. She fought skeletons and bandits but nothing she wasn't used to.

She heard screaming and entered a large open room. Agiant spider fell from the ceiling and landed in front of her!
2014_10_09_00001.jpg

Nylev let out a scream and the fear almost kept her from casting her flame spells.
2014_10_09_00002.jpg

After a heated battle, she found the man who had been screaming. He was completly encased. She spent some time cutting him loose. When he got down, he laughed at her and took off into the ruins.
"Ungrateful idiot," she thought.
2014_10_09_00003.jpg

She found his body further down the passage. Something had killed him, possibly the spider's venom had taken effect finally. She rummaged through his things when she was hit with a magical blast. A gag locked in place around her head! She tugged at it but it was firmly locked in place.
2014_10_13_00008.jpg

She removed her armor to better get at the restraints but all her efforts were in vain. She dropped to her knees and spoke a silent plea. "By the light, someone help me. What sick bastard invented this spell anyway. Does someone get pleasure from seeing me in bondage?"
2014_10_09_00004.jpg

*****Several hours later.*****
Nylev arrived back in Whiterun with the stone in hand. The Jarl congratulated her and didn't even ask to remove the gag. He seemed to find it humorous. Nylev was fuming inside! Before she could mumble anything the Jarl directed her toward a watchtower.
2014_10_13_00009.jpg

Once at the tower, they found an evil dragon ransaking it. Bow in hand, she climbed the tower and rained death on the dragon. The entire time, the deviced locked on her were tormenting her with pleasure and pain.
2014_10_11_00001.jpg

After the battle, she spoke to the Jarl. He awarded her the title of Thane and gave her a new armor. Irileth laughed and muttered something about the mumbling thane. Nylev went straight to Belethor's shop. It was late so she snuck in and after a short search, found a key that fit her restarints.
2014_10_11_00003.jpg

"That bastard had a key all along," she quietly said to herself. She looked around and found some armor and jewelry that fit her perfectly. "He owes me this."
2014_10_11_00006.jpg

She noticed an odd lump in a rolled up rug. Upon closer inspection, she found a vary interesting sword.
2014_10_11_00008.jpg

She was drawn to the snoring coming from upstairs. She crept into Belethor's room and held the sword toward him. "It would be so easy," she thought.2014_10_11_00007.jpg

I'm saving up to replace my computer so I don't want to continue the main story I am working on. I have a large amount written down but I want it to look good too. But in the mean time I really want to write something. I'm not so much having writer's block, more like indecisiveness. So I'll ask you guys what I should write about. Leave me a comment or pm me. Most votes is the way I will go. For the record, Blackreach Experiments, Tears of the Present, Harsh Realities, and Darkwater Raiders all tie in together so I can't do those right now.

Here are some things I could jump into:

The one that gets the most votes wins or if you have a really good idea it may win out.

1) I could do another wow/skyrim crossover story.

2) Crashed spaceship and sole survivor (not Mass Effect related. I did that already.)

3) Scifi style story

4) Abandoned child/teenager theme. (Lost in woods, no memory, etc.. something along those lines)

5) Daedric lord up to no good/ human envoy of ill will.

6) any  other ideas you may have?

This is a project I've been working on. There's a scene here that's alluding to a great novel I once read; if you know what it is, then my hat's off to you.

Setting takes place a few years after Skyrim has won their independence.

Large image dump: 42 PNGs (sorry for load times)

Advisory: Blood, violence, mild language, implied sexual content

Watch the Skies

Speakers are in the following colors:

White - Narrator

Orange - Sólveig

Red - Odahviing

Lime - Thalmor

Watch the skies. It used to be a warning to travelers to keep an eye out for dragons. Now the free Nords of Skyrim say it in honor of the Dragonborn as she patrolled the skies above.15195249543_0a8096983e_b.jpg

"Slow down a mite Odi, I don' want to miss something."15629510047_b3dbda475b_b.jpg

"I detest that name you have given me, Dovahkiin. But very well, as you wish."15628881999_f2269e8790_b.jpg

Odahviing soars over Helgen, and to the slopes nearing the Skyrim border to Hammerfell.15629842930_37b87c8ea1_b.jpg

Sólveig spots Vohlakmir perched high above Angi's shack. Still as shy and wistful as he ever was.15812807991_96ace9a7fb_b.jpg

"Why are we searching this area?"15629529427_6786c6a2d0_b.jpg

"Note sure, call it my women's intention."15195273203_8671662057_b.jpg

"I believe that's 'intuition' you had meant to say."

Though she's come a long way from sounding like a blithering idiot, Sólveig still struggles with words from time to time.15195274883_d873b2a1f7_b.jpg

"Oh, sod off! Hey wait, I see something."15812823951_92f3ee800e_b.jpg

Sólveig notices the unmistakable glint coming from a mix of glass and Elven armors. That could only mean one thing...15629867190_cbe75a0432_b.jpg

"Pointy-eared Nancies! Odahviing, let us bloody their pretty man-dresses!"15816282112_8e3618e8c3_b.jpg

Odahviing lets forth a guttural roar to announce their presence before he begins his speedy descent.15195285673_cfc75dae19_b.jpg

"What was that?"15195288833_07a8b4bc5f_b.jpg

"Auriel preserve us, dragon!"15629550717_4d0e74c9ee_b.jpg

She glares at them a distance away with a wicked grin. Her desire to kill makes the air heavy.15814745775_21a45f7741_b.jpg

The hardened Nord brandishes her battleaxe...15195303143_702396e0bb_b.jpg

Then she breaks into a full on sprint to the Thalmor's position.15629339998_ab0efdb752_b.jpg

Still a ways off, her next move completely takes them off guard.

"Wuld..."15812855891_ce6fdd7775_b.jpg

"Nah Kest!"15195311543_e025695090_b.jpg

Before any of them can comprehend the blur of motion that just appeared before their eyes, the Justiciar falls dead before them.15629303878_cfaea4ca14_b.jpg

"Mul...Qah Diiv!"

The Dragonborn shouts words offering protection in the skirmish to come.15195266163_b5433be74e_b.jpg

The ethereal armor deflects every incoming blow, granting her temporary invulnerability.15629298888_45743eebe9_b.jpg

She waits for a break in their assault where they ponder the circumstances laid before them.15195314583_e263e66ec5_b.jpg

Unleashing a barrage of heavy swings, Sólveig violently tears into their numbers.15629902950_9b3ef63b09_b.jpg

The heap of bodies pile as they are felled, restricting her movement. Her protective ward wears off.15812865901_41eb70c329_b.jpg

The barbarian attempts to push for some room when she hears footsteps behind her. The Elven woman circled around to get the advantage.15195322343_a90145cff8_b.jpg

She just barely manages to free her lower body enough to turn around, but her battleaxe is still pinned underneath the ornate corpses.

"We have you now, you filthy, mongrel bitch!"15195324963_da55623868_b.jpg

With a lunge, Sólveig thrusts her horned crown into the over-confident Altmer, piercing the jugular.15814771485_23370e1ce6_b.jpg

Her crown is pried off as she casts the limp carcass aside. The lone soldier behind hesitates, greatly unsure of his chances while Sólveig makes to stand.15814774015_9a7b0a7b6a_b.jpg

Her blindfold was beginning to slip, so she removed it as well before turning to face the remaining Thalmor agent.15816331052_9c47a6b108_b.jpg

15816343372_71bce18fdd_b.jpg

With the last of them taken care of, Sólveig reclaims her horned crown and blindfold before looking to see any sign of Odahviing.15195348003_2e4da5b729_b.jpg

The crimson beast makes a landing before her. After the dirt settles he speaks,

"Forgive me Dovahkiin, I only count five dead before the rest escaped from my sight. How do you fare?"15812897351_f52e175183_b.jpg

"Take me to Ivarstead before home. I need a good lay."15814693755_cd3becfea5_b.jpg

End.

I hope this has been as enjoyable as it was for me to make. If you haven't already and want to read her background story, check my blog entry.

That was awesome! Really, fantastic work.

I'm proud to present what's been a great project for a while now, I would like to thank Cyphermannvidiot and a few others that will be revealed in future chapters for helping out and contributing to the story  :P

Ok here we go, Enjoy  :D

hWDTE3T.jpg

One day after wandering the storms, our heroines arrived at the Nightgate inn for a good night's sleep. They both ordered up something to drink as they were both pretty exhausted from the what happened earlier that day. As the drinks arrived they took of their bloody cloaks and sat down to talk.

cbyBfQm.png

Jofrid: So, Anduril was it? Thanks for saving my ass back there, but I still wish that I could have saved the rest of them.

Anduril: There's nothing we could have done, it happened too fast. You probably would have gotten yourself killed.

Jofrid: You're probably right, It's still sad though.

74OinU9.jpg

As the two ladies continued to sip down their drinks, the bard started playing a dreadful tune on her lute. It sounded worse than children screaming, but when she started to sing to the tune her heavenly voice filled the room with joy. Even though some vocals were out of tune, her great singing did that nobody even noticed the bad lute playing anymore.

eQvoua9.jpg

After the bard finished playing her tune, she went over to the benches where the heroines were relaxing.

Erin: Hello there, I'm the bard. Name's Erin, and I'm saving up septims to go to the Bards College in Solitude. Would you like to make a request?

Jofrid: It sounded that you need it, your' lute playing was horrible.

Rjo86qA.png

An: Jofrid! that's no way to talk to someone. Anyways Erin, you have a lovely voice.

Jo: She said she was going to college, so she should already know how bad she is. *burp*

hsVFptD.jpg

Er: Thanks, and I'm perfectly aware of my lute playing skills. It's one of the reasons I'm applying.

An: Don't mind Jofrid here, she doesn't seem to be used to drinking. And I'm actually not sure if she is old enough to drink, so I'm watching her for the night I assume. Just don't tell anyone, here's a few septims for your college fund.

RVE4wgo.jpg

Er: Thanks. No problem, I know how it is being a young girl in a place like this with a little too much to drink. Good thing she has someone to watch over her, I'll leave you too it. Good night...

An: Good night  to you as well...

O2BALeb.png

The morning after our girls were rested and felt ready to continue towards revenge, But first it was breakfast time. As they ordered their food and sat down on a bench to eat it, the bard from the night before ordered up a meal herself before she walked over to them.

KdghRef.jpg

Er: Would you mind if I sit here and eat with you guys?

Jo: No problem, have a seat.

Er: Thanks *sits down*. I've been wondering, what are you two's situation? Where are you going?

ZY0qzyo.jpg

An: It's kind of a long story, you sure you want to hear it?

Er: Sure, were not exactly swamped today. So I wouldn't get much requests today anyways.

Jo: Ok, To make sure you get everything right, I'll take it from the beginning...

BkjFnAv.png

To be continued...

Notes:

If you got confused about the beginning, be aware that it's supposed to be like that. The next chapter will be a 90% flashback chapter to explain everything that's happened.

stay tuned for that.

This chapter is also much shorter than originally planned, but this way it will lead to more chapters  :D

big thanks again to Cypherman for the pics of Erin, and nvidiot for the pics of Anduril. Great job  :P

It's a new beginning folks...

Story

Part One:

A feeling had been building up inside of Lucari over the past month. It’d been a week since she last fed, and she thought that may have contributed to it. She felt weak, weaker than she would have imagined and she also felt like her mind was slipping.

Ch23p1_001.jpg

“…Niyle…” Unconsciously she kept muttering this to help keep herself calm. However, whenever she thought about what it meant she felt confused and her chest began to ache.  She wanted the pain to go away more than she wanted to abate her hunger.

Ch23p1_002.jpg

(What am I doing…) She’d been walking since night fell but felt like she was going nowhere.  She was hungry, tired, confused, the clothes she had picked up a few weeks ago had become tattered, and she didn’t want to go on.

Ch23p1_003.jpg

Preoccupied with these thoughts, Lucari ended up losing her footing and slipping backwards. It didn’t hurt, but the act in itself reminded her of the direction she was going from her ultimate goal.  (Becoming a hero… it feels like a lifetime ago since I’ve thought of that.)

Ch23p1_004.jpg

(Maybe… Maybe I deserved this.  Maybe I was never to become a hero…) She thought remembering her first meal. He was an unsuspecting lad. Sweet and kind just like… Suddenly, that pain in her chest welled up causing Lucari to lose herself. “…hunger…”

Ch23p1_005.jpg

This had become a normal thing since her first meal. It was something of a cycle. She’d remember how it felt to feed, remember how kind the poor soul was, then she’d feel pained and hungry.  Lucari had been trying her hardest not to feed, not to give in to her nature, but it was hard and the more she fought the more of her she felt slipping away.

(I should just give in and act like what I am… a vamp—) A noise behind Lucari gained her attention and felt an all too familiar presence.

Ch23p1_006.jpg

Enraged, she jumped up, faced the stranger and felt an urge to kill overwhelm her. (You…) She didn’t remember who this person was, but something within her told her both to run and to attack. It was a carnal feeling, instinctive, and even though those instincts pulled her more in the direction of flee, her heart told her to fight. To kill…

Ch23p1_007.jpg

Hatred, anger, sadness, they came over her wave by wave until Lucari could barely contain herself.  It wasn’t too late to run, something in the back of her head kept prodding her, but she ignored it.  Her prey, the cause of all of this, was right here and Lucari wasn’t about to let this chance go to waste.

Ch23p1_008.jpg

“How have you been, my progeny?” The woman said with a hint of sarcasm in her voice.  “I’m sorry that I just threw you into the wild like that—not teaching you which way was up—but you, well the former you, spit in my face and I couldn’t just coddle you like I’d normally do.” The woman looked her over and smiled.  “Haa… well, you could have ended up worse. I’m surprised you’re still alive.”

Ch23p1_009.jpg

(Surprised I’m still alive!?) Something snapped within Lucari and she pounced.  The thin thread of reason—of sanity—that she’d been clinging to for weeks finally broke... and she was no longer Lucari.  She was an animal, a monster controlled by her instincts and those instincts had finally unified telling her to do one thing. “…kill…”

Ch23p1_010.jpg

“Nice agility, and pretty good fierceness you got there,” the woman said.  “However, your posture is weak and—”

Lucari leapt into the air, throwing the woman off.

Ch23p1_011.jpg

But only momentarily. “Ahahahaaa! An aerial attack? Smart. Almost caught me unawares,” the woman said unfazed by the impending attack Lucari was about to unleash upon her. “Amateurish to be certain, but for you never to have committed to vampire-on-vampire combat before, you could have done worse…”

Ch23p1_012.jpg

The woman stuck out a single finger. “…For instance, you could have run.”

Ch23p1_013.jpg

Something tight wrapped itself around Lucari’s neck, keeping her suspended in air, but when she grasped for it there was nothing.

Ch23p1_014.jpg

“Surprised?” The woman taunted.  “Figures, seeing as you know nothing of our world. But I will teach you.  I will raise you, and help you embrace this gift of My Lord.” The woman smiled.  “It didn’t have to be this way Defiler, wait… my progeny would never have such a name. My progeny would be a devout follower of My Lord, and thus wouldn’t be feeling their pathetic life fleeing from their body right now. Now then, what should I call you, hmmm?”

Ch23p1_015.jpg

“…Lu…cari…” she said bitterly still struggling against the invisible hold on her neck.

The woman sighed.  “It seems like you don’t get it. That name belongs to the Defiler. And if you were the Deflier, I’d crush your throat and twist your head off this instant!”

Ch23p1_016.jpg

“Why do I bother…” The woman flicked her wrist and sent Lucari soaring through the air.

Ch23p1_017.jpg

Clumsily, Lucari tried to gain her balance midair, but only succeeded in turning over and landing face first in the dirt.

Ch23p1_018.jpg

“Now then my child,” the woman said as the shadows wrapped themselves around Lucari and herself.  “How shall I train you…”

Ch23p1_019.jpg

Part Two:

“AFTER HER!”

These were words she had heard numerous times throughout the past month, and due to a slight slip up, she was now hearing them again and was again being chased by the city guards.

Ch23p2_001.jpg

Leaping through the air, a though passed through the woman’s head, (Security’s tightened up a lot for little ole me…)

Niyleen’s little prison break had not only been bad for the Halfling, but for her as well.  As a known accomplice, she was presumed to be involved and a bounty of seventy five hundred Septims was placed on her head. Can’t have people escaping from Cidhna Mine.

Ch23p2_002.jpg

Landing roughly, she realized Markarth had finally become a no fly zone for her.  She was now being set up by informants she’d known for years. A strange thing bounties, the things they’ll make people do.

Ch23p2_003.jpg

“SHE’S OVER THIS WAY!”

“Crap…” They were gaining on her, and though she didn’t want to, she grasped her only means of escape: jumping down into the city’s water.

Ch23p2_004.jpg

“Where did she go?”

“I don’t know.  You, you and you, go that way.  The rest of you, with me!”

Keeping low, the woman took a sigh of relief.  “This’ll buy me some time. Wish I didn’t need to get my armor wet though…”

Ch23p2_005.jpg

“Who am I kidding?  I should just turn myself in… I’ve got no one, nothing. I lost Niyleen, Lucari ran away, Sorene and Sorerica went their separate ways… Why am I running? What am I fighting for?”

Ch23p2_006.jpg

“I tried to be strong Sis, I really did.  But I’m not strong like you or Niyleen, I’m not tough like Lucari. I don’t have a reason for any of this anymore…”

Ch23p2_007.jpg

“I wanted vengeance, revenge… but you took that away Sis and gave me a new purpose.  But now that’s gone…”

Ch23p2_008.jpg

“Tell me what to do Sis! I need you now more than I ever did.” Carciel couldn’t contain it anymore. She always had… someone.  Whether it was someone to depend on or someone to hate, there was always someone she could cling to—good or bad—whenever times got rough.  But with Eolri dead, Niyleen and Lucari missing, and now this latest betrayal Carciel couldn’t hold back her feelings anymore.

Ch23p2_009.jpg

“Why haven’t you contacted me since that day? I can’t do this anymore. It’s too much, it’s too—”

“Now this is the Ciel I remember, my little crybaby.”

Ch23p2_010.jpg

“C-Ciel?” Carciel said wiping her eyes.  “No one calls me that except for—!!” Carciel’s eyes widened and her jaw hit the floor. “No way… It can’t be…”

Ch23p2_011.jpg

“But it is Ciel. It’s a plain as these washed out walls you see before you.”

“E-Eoly?”

Ch23p2_012.jpg

“The one and the same,” Eolri said with a smirk.  “I’m assuming you’ve missed me?”

Carciel’s heart began to race. (She’s always been there when things got too rough, too complicated… when I was young, with Niyleen, and now…)

“What’s wrong Ciel? Something on my face?”

“N-n-n-no! No no no! Not at all!” (But it can’t be her…)

Ch23p2_013.jpg

“Hmph, I come back because you practically beg me to, and this is how I’m received?” Eolri frowned.  “For all of this, I could have continued with my Hunt.”

“W-what!?” Carciel said, understanding that which was untold.  “Y-you’re a—were a—when? Where? How?”

“Got bit a little after I domesticated my pet, I mean, after I beat and captured Niyle, but that’s not what matters right now. You needed my help, and here I am.”

Ch23p2_014.jpg

“Why now? I’ve needed you for so long, YEARS before I finally confronted Niyleen,” Carciel said turning from her sister.  “Then when Sorene and Sorerica left and I was all alone, I needed you. But you were nowhere to be found.”

“It’s not like I can just stop the Hunt Ciel. Stop being impractical.”

“I’m not! I just…”

“I see… you just can’t wrap your head around it,” Eolri said sighing.  “Fine, I’ll play nice then, so dry your tears little Ciel.” She pounded on her chest.  “Big Sis Eoly’s going to make everything right.”

Ch23p2_015.jpg

And then the impossible happened. A blinding light enveloped Eolri causing Carciel to shield her eyes, and when she finally was able to face her sister, that’s exactly who she faced; Eolri, her flesh and blood sister.

“Will this do?”

Ch23p2_016.jpg

Without warning, Carciel hugged Eolri and wouldn’t stop repeating her name. (This feeling, this warmth! It’s really her!!) Her sister was back, and there was nothing she was going to let tear them apart again.

Ch23p2_017.jpg

“W-woah, Ciel?! Why’re you so emotional all of a sudden,” Eolri said surprised by her sister’s actions.  “I mean I know you missed me and all, but I was already here and—”

“Eoly… Eoly… Eoly… Eoly… Eoly…”

“Sis…”

Ch23p2_018.jpg

“It’s… it’s okay Ciel, I’m here. I’m right here. You don’t have to worry, I’ll always be here when you need it,” Eolri said going into big sister mode. “So if you need to cry, then cry.  If you need to be weak, be weak.  Just be you Ciel.  You don’t have to be me or Niyleen or Lucari.  None of us wanted you to be, none of us liked you because you imitated us.  We liked you for you. So be you!”

Ch23p2_019.jpg

Carciel wanted to shout, she wanted to let it all out, but remembering herself and the predicament she was in, she just cried softly into her sister’s shoulder for a good long time.

Ch23p2_020.jpg

When Eolri thought Carciel had cried long enough, she pulled away from her sister and said, “Listen, what I told you before still stands.  I need you to help out Niyleen.”

Ch23p2_021.jpg

“That doesn’t matter anymore Eoly,” Carciel said sweetly.  “We can finally just be together again. We could get a house, and—oh you know what? We could go back to Karthwasten and—”

Ch23p2_022.jpg

Carciel! Stop screwing around,” Eolri yelled causing Carciel to look around nervously for guards. “I know how much you missed me, how alone you felt. I wanted to come, I wanted to help you out, but I couldn’t.  I’m here now. But the situation hasn’t changed for you.  The Daedric Princes want her, along with the Dragonborn. Shit, Ciel, there are bigger things going on than you even realize!”

Ch23p2_023.jpg

“But none of that matters to me. None of that involves me,” Carciel said pouting.  “Sure, Niyleen’s a good person.  She’s better than I’d like to admit al things considering, but even if the Daedric Princes get her, it won’t matter all that much to—”

Ch23p2_024.jpg

“You’re… broken,” Eolri said painfully.  “God’s you’re broken. Hircine… Julianos, guide me.” The Forsworn took a deep breath and then said, “Ciel, this is not you. A month completely by yourself has turned you into this? Think about Niyleen. Think about what Lucari’s going through. She could be dead. Killed by a Vigilant somewhere!”

Ch23p2_025.jpg

“…’t matter.”

“What did you say?”

“What’s it matter? They left me. I didn’t leave them.  I have never left anyone, but I’m always left behind.  First it was father, then mother.  You, Niyleen and Lucari. Why can’t I want… why can’t I make my own happiness?”

Ch23p2_026.jpg

“Why…” Carciel bit her lip.  It was always like this.  When she was younger, Eolri would leave the house for weeks at a time leaving her alone.  Sure their neighbors would try and help out, but that absence left a rift within Carciel.  She had to be strong so her sister always came home to a smiling Ciel, but in truth Carciel had gradually become tired of the façade.  Sure she kept it up after Eolri’s death, but it only lasted as long as her bitterness toward Niyleen did. Once she began to feel for the Halfling like a friend she knew it was the beginning of the end, same for Lucari.

“Stop being so selfish,” Eolri said slapping her sister.  “Grow up Ciel! You’re older than Niyleen, and yet why do you aspire to be her when things get dire? She’s no better than you.  She just has unfortunate circumstances surrounding her.”

“Like I don’t…”

Ch23p2_027.jpg

Eolri scratched the back of her neck. “I was a terrible sister.”

“N-n-no! You were a wonderful—”

Eolri put up a finger silencing Carciel.  “I was a terrible sister Ciel, I know I was.  When… when mom and dad left, I tried so hard to be the elder sister you needed, but I couldn’t.  Those times I left you alone, I was trying to find myself.  I was only your elder by minutes for god’s sake.  How was I supposed to know what to do for you when I didn’t know what to do for myself?” Eolri sighed.  “But I kept trying, kept doing what I thought was right so that you could survive.  And look at you now,” Eolri said smiling.  “You’re a wonderful young woman with friends that care about you, and you outlived me! That’s more than what I thought I could do for you.”

Ch23p2_028.jpg

Carciel dropped to her knees.  “I-I don’t—”

“You don’t care about any of that. You just want things to go back to the way they were. I know Ciel, I know… I know about it all.”

“Then why are you doing this? Why are you making me—”

Ch23p2_029.jpg

“We all have to grow up Ciel, some sooner than others. Niyleen and I had to grow up way too soon, you and Lucari’s time is now. So do this for me Carciel. I’ve never asked anything of you, and I never wanted to.  But Niyleen needs—I need—your help.”

Ch23p2_030.jpg

Carciel got back to her feet and sighed. “I… I could never disobey you Eoly.” She shrugged.  “Haaa…. I just wish you would have let me vent a little more.”

Eolri smiled.  “You’re such a child.”

“Ehehe, can’t be helped.” She wiped all the signs of her crying from her face and said, “So, what’s really going on?”

Ch23p2_031.jpg

“Now this is the Ciel that I wanted to see,” Eolri said causing Carciel to smile brightly.  “Okay then. I know where Niyleen is.”

“Good.  Point me in the direction and I’ll be right—”

“No! You must not go there for five days.  Events are unraveling as we speak and if you interfere, there’s no telling what may happen.”

(I hear you Eoly… but…) “Alright, fine fine fine.  So where is she?”

“Wormstone Lair, just outside of Whiterun.”

Ch23p2_032.jpg

“That’s a two day trip on foot by itself!”

“And that’s if you don’t get into any trouble and of course if you’re actually running the entire time,” Eolri said jokingly.

“Not funny, AT ALL. But… I think I got this Sis,” Carciel said with a smile.

Ch23p2_033.jpg

“Hmm… Carciel Syliel, Saver of Worlds.  Ehehe, nice ring to it huh?”

“Indeed it does.”

“W-well then.” Carciel froze for a moment before saying, “I love you Eoly.”

Eolri nodded and said, “Time’s not waiting for you Ciel. Make haste.”

Carciel nodded in turn and then ran out of her hiding place. “THERE SHE IS! GET HER!!!” And once again the chase was on.

Ch23p2_034.jpg

“I said you need to grow up, but it’s amazing how much you already have,” Eolri said as she saw her sister off.  She swallowed a lump forming in the back of her throat and said, “I love you too, Carciel,” as a tear rolled down her cheek.

Ch23p2_035.jpg

“Enough with the melodrama bullshit,” said a coarse voice from Eolri’s mouth.  “You’ve fulfilled your part, and now you’re stupid sister is off to participate in Niyleen’s trials.  Aren’t you proud Big Sis? AHAHAHAHAHAAAAA”

(I’m so sorry Ciel…)

Ch23p2_036.jpg

Part Three:

“Hey guys, I’m back.”

“Oh great… the Pretender returns,” Telind said crossing his arms. “And here I thought you were going to be skeever bait…”

“Bite me fool,” Niyleen said looking around.  “Where’s my sister? Sleeping?”

Ch23p3_001.jpg

“Yes, the true Niyleen is indeed sleeping.”

(She’s been doing that more and more lately…) Niyleen noticed how the Altmer was eyeing her and narrowed her eyes. “Can I help you?”

“I don’t like you.”

Niyleen rolled her eyes and rubbed her forehead. “What’s new?”

Ch23p3_002.jpg

“I don’t like you and what you’re doing to my Mistress.  If you weren’t her sister—”

“You’d still get your ass handed to you.  But are you serious right now,” Niyleen said rubbing her temple.  “I just got back from doing some mercenary work, and now is when you want to fight?”

Ch23p3_003.jpg

“I do,” Telind said coolly giving Niyleen a chilling look.

Ch23p3_004.jpg

(Sis is going to be so mad…) “You know what? I’m game.” Niyleen threw off her cloak and got into a fighting stance. “Try not to wake Nyleine up, and don’t cry when I kick your ass.”

Ch23p3_005.jpg

Telind cracked his neck and settled into his own fighting stance.  “I shall enjoy this thusly.”

Ch23p3_006.jpg

Telind rushed at Niyleen throwing fist after fist at her, but Niyleen dodged them all with ease. Something about her time here had made her feel lighter, stronger, and keener to the world around her and it was as if she was seeing Telind in slow motion as he tried to take her down.

“Hold still damn you!”

(This idiot. When will he ever—!!) Niyleen was forced to jump backwards to dodge an incoming straight from the Altmer. Though it meant nothing to her, for some reason it definitely got Telind’s blood pumping.

Ch23p3_007.jpg

When she landed, she noticed that Telind had yet to move from his position and was about to question him when suddenly he said, “It’s not fair. IT’S NOT FAIR! Mistress had me, ME first! And yet she cares about YOU! NOT me, NOT Telind who was with her… FORCED to be with her and has dutifully done EVERYTHING she bid.”

Ch23p3_008.jpg

Niyleen rose to her feet and sighed. “Keep it down,” she said reminding him of his Mistress’s slumber.  “Besides, you’re just a pawn. Literally, you’re a thrall that she keeps around because you’re useful.”

“You think I don’t know this? You think TELIND doesn’t know this!?” Telind got back into his fighting stance.  “Come at me bitch! I’ll have you faced down in the dirt like a Nord after too many drinks.”

Ch23p3_009.jpg

“It’s your funeral Alt—”

I wish Niyleen and Telind would get along…

Niyleen swallowed her words and looked over towards her sleeping sister recognizing that she could feel her sister’s thoughts flow through her. (But he… fine, whatever.) Looking back at Telind, Niyleen said, “Look Telind, we should probably stop this now.  You’ve had your fun, now settle down and—”

“I WILL NOT SETTLE DOWN, YOU LOW LIFE HAG!”

Ch23p3_010.jpg

Niyleen looked over toward her sister. (Don’t say I didn’t try Sis.)

Before she could face the Altmer again, he struck with a sneak attack in the face.  The blow stunned her more than it actually hurt her, but it enraged her all the same.  As he came in to strike her again, Niyleen countered with a knee to the stomach.  She then tripped Telind and elbowed him as the two of them fell to the ground, causing Telind to lose his breath.

Pinning the Altmer to the ground, Niyleen said in a low voice, “We are done, Telind. Test me again, and I don’t care if you are my sister’s thrall, I will beat your face in until all it looks like is a mound of shit. You understand?”

Telind swallowed hard. “T-T-Telind understands…”

“Good, now then…” Niyleen felt something against her bottom. “Can you please do something about your hands?”

“W-well, it was just there,” Telind said as he removed them from her butt.

Ch23p3_011.jpg

As Niyleen pushed off of him she felt something else poke her.   At first he thought it was his knee, but when she found out what it was her eyes widened. “Y-you!!!”

“Thrall or not,” Telind said flatly. “You did press your masses of fat you women call breasts against me. Things happ—eeeeeek!”

“I’m NOT my sister you perverted fuck,” Niyleen said as she walked away from her handiwork. This wasn’t the first time in the last month that he’d reacted to her like this. But with that knee to his dick, she’d hope it’d be the last.

Ch23p3_012.jpg

Quietly, Niyleen crept up to her sister and overlooked her as she slept. She knew it was creepy but at times like this she felt calmest. The closer she was to Nyleine the more ‘whole’ she felt. Thinking back on it, she can’t believe that she ever thought that she was anything close to complete before she met Nyleine.

Ch23p3_013.jpg

(Ah she went to sleep while trying to decipher one of those Ruined Books of hers. I keep telling her it’s a waste of time but…) She brushed her sister’s hair gently. “She just won’t listen.”

Ch23p3_014.jpg

No she won’t. Maybe it’s time to permanently feel complete, hmmm?

Niyleen looked down at Nyleine with a deep longing in her heart. (That’s not a bad idea…)

Ch23p3_015.jpg

No it’s not. So come on. DO IT! Hey, I’ll tell you what. If you kill her, I’ll give you my powers no strings attached.

Niyleen bent over to see her sister’s sleeping face.  It always amazed her how similar they looked given the means their father went to to create Nyleine. “Am I really that cute? I mean, disregarding the markings on her face and all.”

Of course not, you have that horrible looking right eye. It should be red.

Ch23p3_016.jpg

“Dammit Nega… Just go away, I don’t need your shit right now,” Niyleen said, finally overtly acknowledging her presence.  “Three parts, two souls, ultimately one person…”

And I’m giving you the chance to become that one person. The physical power of you yourself, the knowledge of the necromancer, and the raw magical power that I hold, together we’d be unstoppable.

(Shut up… Shut up. Shut up! Shut Up! SHUT UP!!)

Ch23p3_017.jpg

You know you want that power. The three of us combined are MORE than a match for any god. You know this. You FELT how strong just me and you were with HALF of my full potential!

Niyleen bit her lip. It was an amazing rush to be sure, but could she really kill… “Stop! I’m fine like this, I’m completely—”

Ch23p3_018.jpg

You hate going on those mercenary missions because you’re away from Nyleine, away from the other part of your soul.

Niyleen sucked her teeth, not able to deny her.

You just want to get them done as soon as possible, and lately your work has been getting worse and worse. Face it, you only go out now so that you won’t sap more and more of Nyleine’s soul. But wouldn’t it be more satisfying to simply kill her and absorb all that she is?

Ch23p3_019.jpg

Niyleen turned around and looked at her sister once more. There was something about Nega’s words that ran true.  The fact that Nyleine was sleeping more and more could only be contributed to Niyleen’s sudden good health. She knew that she’d been inadvertently sapping her energy for at least a week now, but she couldn’t stop it.

Do you want to stop it? Then KILL HER!

Ch23p3_020.jpg

(NOOOOOO!!!!) “I won’t do it, I won’t!” Niyleen said defiantly, turning from Nyleine. “She’s me, and I’m her. If nothing else, it’d be like suicide!”

Ch23p3_021.jpg

And yet it’d be easier than suicide.  You wouldn’t even feel a thing.  Just look at her, so defenseless, just ripe for the picking.

Niyleen couldn’t help but glance back toward Nyleine. Everything Nega was saying was true, for the both of them. Niyleen had thought about killing Nyleine before, and ever since she began sapping Nyleine’s soul, she found out that Nyleine had at one point wanted to do the same.

Come on… just do it. You know you want to.

“S-she is kinda just lying there…”

Ch23p3_022.jpg

“NO! You twisted fuck! I won’t do it!”

Ahahahahahaa! I love this. The fact that I’ve been able to wind you up so much proves how much power I have over you when I want to exert it.  Give in Niyleen, and you’ll be able to be with Nyleine—body and soul—forever.

“Aaaaagh!”

Ch23p3_023.jpg

(Dammit, dammit, DAMMIT!!!) Niyleen dropped to her knees and laid on her head on the bed. “I don’t want to kill you,” Niyleen said softly.  “But the urge is too strong… I… I…”

‘Am weak. And your death will be my strength?’ Is that what you meant to say?

(Stop it, stop it please!!)

Ch23p3_024.jpg

“No, you know what? I won’t. I just won’t kill her simple as that.”

But Niyleen. Surely you don’t—

“I do. She’s my little sister, and I’ve gotta protect her. It’s as simple as that.”

Ch23p3_025.jpg

Simple as that?

“Isn’t that what I said,” Niyleen said proudly.

I see…

Ch23p3_026.jpg

Hehehehehehe.

“What’s so damn funny, Nega?”

Oh nothing. Just… what’s that in your hand?

“In my—!!!” Suddenly Niyleen felt her left hand grasped around a cool grip.  She knew this grip without looking. (It’s not my dagger, it’s not my dagger…) Slowly peaking over towards her hand, her hopes were immediately dashed as her wishes fell on deaf ears.

Didn’t you say that wasn’t your dagger? Sure looks like it. Ahahahahahahaaa!

Ch23p3_027.jpg

“I… I…” There was nothing she could say. It was a fact that she did not want to kill Nyleine. That’s what her heart and mind said.  But deep within her, maybe at the very fiber of her being, something in her wanted to become whole.  It had nothing to do with Nega’s power, it was just a feeling that she couldn’t shake… that she almost succumbed to.

Ch23p3_028.jpg

Give it up girl. You’re no priestess. You’re a sinner just like each and everybody else. You’re not ‘holier than thou’, and you are NOT innocent no matter what you want to believe. Nyleine isn’t even real. She’s a fake imitation your father made. Purge the pretender and become one!

“I—eh?” Niyleen opened her eyes and noticed that Nyleine had rolled over to her and was purring softly.

Ch23p3_029.jpg

(What am I doing?) Niyleen thought looking into her sister’s sleeping face.  No matter how corrupted she may have become in dealing with their father, Nyleine was the closest thing to a pure soul that Niyleen had come across. Sure Lucari acted pure, but she like all others was ready and willing to make a name off of the downfall of others, though she couldn’t blame her. “I could never hurt you. You’re my Little Sis. You’re the only family I have left…”

Ch23p3_030.jpg

NO NO NO NO NOOOOOOOOOOOOO! This isn’t right! This isn’t fair! I so close, SO CLOSE!!

(Well then, looks like you—)

“Mmmm… hmmm…” Niyleen froze as she saw her sister’s eye’s slowly open and readjust to the light. “Ah, Niyle,” Nyleine said so sweetly. “Aaaah….I’m glad that you made it home safely.”

Ch23p3_031.jpg

“Umm… what’s with the dagger Big Sis?”

Niyleen yelped jumping backwards falling on her rear. “I… I can explain!”

Oh I can’t wait to hear this. AHAHAHAHAHHAHAAAHAAAA!!!!

Special Chapter: Number One - Trials of the Breton

It's dangerous to go alone...

Story

(One more day…) Carciel looked around the inn and sighed. (I feel a bit… uneasy in Whiterun… Like I’m unwanted or—)

“Something bothering you dear?”

“N-no, nothing more than usual Hulda.”

Ch24p1_001.jpg

“Look,” Hulda said.  “I know it may be rough here, but if anything’s bothering you—”

“I’m FINE!”

Ch24p1_002.jpg

“Look here Breton,” Hulda said sharply. “Normally I don’t pry into the affairs of my customers as long as they pay and don’t bother the other guests. But the way you walk around here all brooding, and your… attire has been upsetting my other patrons.”

“Well excuse me then, I’ll try to be less ‘brooding’ then.” Carciel said, her mind elsewhere. She was worried about Niyleen, and this innkeeper wasn’t helping curb her anxiousness.

Ch24p1_003.jpg

“It’s not just that dear,” Hulda continued.  “There have been… rumors that you’re a wanted woman elsewhere in the land.  Now it has no bearing on anything in Whiterun, but if these rumors were to attract any unsavory folk to my inn…”

Ch24p1_004.jpg

Carciel rose to her feet angrily.  “I thought you said you didn’t pry into your patron’s lives. Then stop prying!” she snapped. “Gods! First I was hounded by the guards at the gate because of the whole ‘dragon incident’, then your bard made multiple passes at me, now you won’t stop hounding me on baseless rumors!”

Ch24p1_005.jpg

“But dear—”

Carciel sucked her teeth.  “You Nords are all the same. You think because I’m smaller than you that I have to put up with whatever you want. I don’t want to talk so stop talking to me!”

Ch24p1_006.jpg

“Besides, you think I want to be in this ale-ridden place with drunks galore, especially in the evening? You ignorant Nords need a crash course in manners before one of you dares to question a Breton’s actions, you uncultured swine.” Carciel paused realizing what she just said and inwardly sighed. (Wow… good job Carciel.  Way to NOT be like all the other stuck up Bretons you know…)

Ch24p1_007.jpg

“Hmph, another softgut trying to make a scene. It gets rather boring actually.”

Ch24p1_008.jpg

Carciel spun around. “Who said that, you back biter!”

Ch24p1_009.jpg

“Huh? You talking to me girl,” said an imposing Nord woman as she cracked her neck. On closer inspection she seemed to have just finished taking care of a would be assassin and was still itching for a fight.  “I don’t think you want any of this.  I’m more woman than you can handle.”

“You think some worthless talk is going to make me back down? I’d cut you down in seven seconds if you tried me.”

Ch24p1_010.jpg

“You’d be dead in six,” the Nord said walking closer to her.

“U-Uthgerd! Please, stop this madness,” Hulda said frantically.

She raised a hand to silence her.  “The arrogant little whelp insulted my pride as a Nord, Hulda.  You know I can’t let that slide.”

“S-stop talking about me like I’m not right here!”

Ch24p1_011.jpg

“Ah, you’re still here,” Uthgerd said smugly.  “Look here small stuff, you think you can go blade to blade with me? I’ve beat all challengers that have come through this city and could probably beat anyone in the entire province bare handed. That said, I don’t think someone like you—”

Ch24p1_012.jpg

“Screw you Nord!” Carciel said giving her the finger.  “Nords… You’re all the same. Doing and saying whatever you want…” She began to think of how Lucari left without saying a word to anyone and her anger continued to rise.

Ch24p1_013.jpg

“The time for this pointless talk is over. I don’t believe a word from your mouth, so why don’t you back it up if you have any pride you blabbermouth.”

“Finally the one thing we agree on. Come at me Breton!”

Ch24p1_014.jpg

Uthgerd spread her arms leaving her defenseless.  “I’ll even let you have the first blow.  I can see that you’re just rearing to go so I’ll lift my usual bans. Fists, weapons, magic… I’ll even allow you to cry.” She laughed. “Let’s go!”

Ch24p1_015.jpg

Just as Carciel unsheathed her blade, the doors to the in blew open and a frantic man ran over to the arguing pair. “B-breton…” he said trying to catch his breath.  “People… gate… looking…”

“Finally off your ass, eh Sinmir,” Uthgerd teased. “Calm your balls and talk straight man.  You’re about to be proving this bitch here right.

Ch24p1_017.jpg

When Sinmir finally caught his breath he said, “There are some Hired muscle outside of Whiterun looking for you Breton.”

“I knew it…” Hulda said.

“There’s three of them.  Two of them look like brothers, and the other is a really unsavory fellow that I swear I’ve seen before.”

“Y-you don’t say?” (Shit! They followed me all the way here!?)

Ch24p1_018.jpg

Not wanting to have a fight before the real fight, Carciel sheathed her sword garnering jeers from Uthgerd.

“What’s this? All that talk and now you’re backing away?

“This is a pointless fight Nord,” Carciel said coolly.  She was still rearing to go, but tried to restrain herself. “A fight between two hot headed women going at it isn’t even worth ten Septims.”

Ch24p1_019.jpg

“You should probably get going Breton,” Sinmir said.  “They said if you don’t show soon, they’ll start telling folk how much you’re worth and apparently the sum is truly outrageous.”

(Shit… now I HAVE to stop them or I’ll eventually be wanted here as well.)

Ch24p1_020.jpg

“Thanks,” Carciel said.

As she walked past Uthgerd she heard her say, “Hmph. Another day, another softgut. The men aren’t worth their pair and the women, HA! To think that puny Breton would challenge me? First dragons, now this? The world’s gone mad I’d say.”

Ch24p1_021.jpg

Carciel didn’t react to the Nord, but a thought did pass through her head as she exited from the inn, (This isn’t over Nord.)

Ch24p1_022.jpg

On her way to meeting up with the trio searching for her, Carciel suddenly stopped. “What the hell are you doing Carciel,” she said in a low voice. “Picking fights? Bad mouthing Nords like that? What… was that?”

Ch24p1_023.jpg

“That wasn’t even me. I don’t even think that way about my people or Nords…” Carciel looked downward and sighed. “Eoly told me to be myself, but ever since I parted from her it feels like something’s come over me. Like I’m becoming someone else…”

Ch24p1_024.jpg

“Screw it!” Carciel said resuming her pace.  “First things first, I’ve got some bounty hunters to handle.”

Ch24p1_025.jpg

“Sinmir said they were outside of Whiterun… there’s no way he meant the Hold and not the cit—!!”

Ch24p1_026.jpg

Quickly Carciel hid behind a wall as she sighted her pursers. Inwardly she cursed after realizing it was exactly who she thought it was: The Law-Bandit twins, Carlin—in the middle—and Torand—on the right—, and Capulus Sirengius the most shrewd bounty hunter in the province on the left.

Ch24p1_027.jpg

“Ay Little Torand?” Capulus said looking over at the younger of the twins. “What’ll you think the Jarl’s going to give us for her?  We could probably make triple that if we give her to one of my contacts.”

“Silence,” said Carlin said.  “We will do as assigned.  And if you try to screw us Sirengius, your head will lay next to hers.”

Ch24p1_028.jpg

That’s what she feared.  Carlin was a meticulous man that never did anything that was too risky.  (They probably were told to bring me in dead or alive… And this bastard’s bounty’s have never spent a day in Cidnha!)

Ch24p1_029.jpg

(So, how should I—!) Suddenly it began to rain and that put a damper on Carciel’s spirits.  (Great… maybe now I’ll have a chance because of their heavy…that’s it!)

Ch24p1_030.jpg

Carciel waited for the rain to pick up a bit before walking out of her hiding place.  As she thought, she was instantly spotted by the trio.

“Brother,” Torand said.

“I know.” Carlin said.  He addressed Carciel, “You made us wait criminal!”

Ch24p1_031.jpg

Carciel drew her sword and said, “I got caught up.  You know how you Nords are. Always inquiring, never learning.”

Ch24p1_032.jpg

“I will only say this once, come without a fuss and I can guarantee your life… as far as Markarth.”

“Seems like a good deal,” Carciel said.  “But I’ll take my chances. I still have things I have to do here on the outside.”

Ch24p1_033.jpg

“So how do you want to do this,” Capulus said. “Circle? Arrow? Triangle? How about 3-Point or Gauntlet?”

“We’ll go with Circle obviously,” Torand said. “It’s the fastest and least—”

Ch24p1_034.jpg

“We go with 3-Point,” Carlin said coolly.  “This criminal is only a third rate threat with a first rate bounty.  We won’t be losing to her no matter what formation we use.”

“But brother…”

“Ballsy,” Capulus said.  “Unlike the rumors, but kinda my style. I’m in!”

Ch24p1_035.jpg

(Thank the Gods all I did was run for the past month. They have no idea what they’re in for…) “Haa… Persistent bastards.  Look down on me if you want.”

“Oh we will Lass,” Capulus said.  “When we have you under our boots.”

Ch24p1_036.jpg

Carlin signaled and the three of them wielded their weapons.  “Let’s end this chase.”

Ch24p1_037.jpg

The three of them rushed Carciel all attacking from the front.  Their attacks were sluggish due to the rain’s effect on their armor and after evading the attacks from the brothers she rushed toward Capulus and tried to split him in half. Unfortunately at the last second he blocked minimalizing the damage.

Ch24p1_038.jpg

“W-w-w-what the!? Capulus said.  “This wasn’t what we were told! How’re you so strong lass—”

Again Carciel rushed down Capulus, this time swing at his head, blinding him.

Ch24p1_039.jpg

Capulus’s screams were drowned out by the rain, and before either of the brothers could act, Carciel cut him down in one powerful final slash down the center of his body, putting an end to the Imperial.

Ch24p1_040.jpg

(God’s he was annoying.)

A shout from her side made Carciel instinctively turn and swing.  However, instead of meeting a weapon as she normally would have, her blade found it’s place in the younger Law-Bandit as she slit his throat, felling him instantly.

Ch24p1_057.jpg

(Two down.) “Go Carlin,” Carciel said.  “You’ve lost. You’ve always traveled in a group to cover your weakness in one on one situations. Just because you didn’t do a thorough investigation on your bounty, did you really think a first rate bounty like myself wouldn’t dig up dirt on my pursuers?”

“…ead…”

“What’s that?”

“You’re dead!!”

(Shit!) Carciel immediately got into a defensive stance.

Ch24p1_066.jpg

Carlin pressed the attack, not letting Carciel get her footing, but his attacks were wide and frantic. He was desperate, and that spelled the end for him.  (If he were coolheaded as usual, his chances would have been better. But,) Carciel disarmed him and just as she did with his brother, slit Carlin’s throat and let him lie in a pool of his own blood.

Ch24p1_067.jpg

(I should have done this weeks ago,) Carciel thought as she sheathed her blade, but she knew it was better that she hadn’t.  If she were to have done so in Markarth, her bounty would be higher, her threat level would have increased, and she might have been caught while fighting.

Ch24p1_076.jpg

“But I guess everything happens for a reason,” Carciel said angrily.  Her blood was pumping, and although she tended to only fight fights that had significant meaning to her, somewhere inside her she yearned for more.

Ch24p1_077.jpg

“I’m glad my contacts didn’t deceive me before they completely turned on me, otherwise I’d be the dead one about now.”

Ch24p1_078.jpg

As the rain cooled her off, she began thinking of why she was in Whiterun to begin with and her eyes wandered off towards the distance. “Eoly said to wait one more day, but I feel… uneasy.”

Ch24p1_079.jpg

(I’m sorry Eoly.) Carciel couldn’t just stay still while her gut told her that Niyleen was in trouble. And so she started off towards Wormstone Lair.

Ch24p1_081.jpg

(I hope I make it in time Niyleen…)

Story

Part One:

Returning from another mercenary mission, Niyleen tried to enter Wormstone Lair without alerting anyone of her presence.

Ch24p2_001.jpg

(So Telind’s asleep and Nyleine’s…) She looked over towards her sister working over the alchemy table and frowned. (Is she really going to act like what happened the other day just didn’t… happen? I… I can take this…)

Ch24p2_002.jpg

“Trying to sneak in again Sister?”

Ch24p2_003.jpg

Niyleen’s thoughts were interrupted by her sister’s words.  “N-n-no! I was just… I mean I thought you’d be—”

Ch24p2_004.jpg

“Be? What? Sleeping?” Nyleine giggled. “Big Sis, even when you sneak in when I’m sleeping I can feel you.  I may not be able to read your thoughts any longer, but I can still sense your presence when you’re near.”

“I…I’m sorry about that,” Niyleen said with downcast eyes.

“Nonsense! I wanted, I WANT this.  Things happen that can’t be helped Sis.  Anyway, come over here,” Nyleine said gesturing her over.  “I don’t want to wake Telind. He seemed rather tired before I told him to rest.”

Ch24p2_005.jpg

Reluctantly, Niyleen made her way over to her sister but kept her distance when she finally made it over.  “So… is there more you wanted to talk about?”

So she’s still worried about affecting me. So silly.  “Not really,” Nyleine said with a smile. “I just wanted to have you by my side as I made another poison.  Telind is quite the durable guinea pig.  What is this, the thirty second poison-antidote combination I’ve come up with? Ah! No wonder he was so weary. Poor guy…”

Ch24p2_006.jpg

“Aren’t we going to talk about it?”

“What are you talking about, Sis?”

“The fact… I tried to kill you the other day and you just laughed it off! How am I supposed to deal with that!?”

Ch24p2_007.jpg

Poor sis… “It’s not a big deal.  I mean, I know it’s not normal, but I know where you’re coming from.”

“Y-you know… what!?”

Nyleine walked away from the alchemy table with a smile.  “It’s only natural for us sister. Subconsciously we both want to be whole, want to be complete one hundred percent of the time, and with you nearing that point it makes sense that the urge to be whole would get stronger. So like I said, not a big deal.”

Ch24p2_008.jpg

I hope that’s a satisfactory answer for you sister. “So is that’s all that’s bothering you Sis?” Nyleine turned and smiled.  “Or is there something else little sister can do for you?” Ch24p2_010.jpg

(This is insane… there’s no way she wants this… I’m… I’m…) “This isn’t right…”

“Huh?”

“This whole thing… it’s like you’re telling me that it’s okay for me to kill you… Like you want me to kill you…”

“It’s okay,” Nyleine said her smile still on her face.  “I mean we were originally one right? What’s the problem with going back to how things were?”

Ch24p2_011.jpg

Something about her words struck a chord deep within Niyleen.  “That’s not right! That’s not what a normal sister would say! You should be like I don’t want to die, please don’t kill me! Why have you given up? Why have you resigned yourself to die by my hand! I can’t… I can’t—”

Ch24p2_012.jpg

“You don’t need to understand Niyleen. I’ve done plenty of bad things in my life. I’ve tortured people, played with their lives, killed people, killed our father, and in the end I can honestly say I regret nothing.” Nyleine turned from her sister.  “Hearing that do you honestly believe a monster like me deserves to continue living?  You should be happy that I want to die, and should be thankful that it’s by your hands that you can stop such a foul person.”

“I… I would never feel that way. I…” Niyleen paused.  Killing she understood. She’d killed before, and even though others wouldn’t always see  it as such she had always killed in order to survive and never regretted a single time she had killed of her own volition. But those other things… “I-I understand,” Niyleen said, her voice shaking.  “S-sometimes we do things in haste that we know are wrong but—”

Ch24p2_013.jpg

“Haste? Do you want to hear a story?” She did not wait for Niyleen to answer.  “I once attended the College of Winterhold, and after three months of study realized they had nothing for me there to enhance my knowledge of the necromantic arts. Just as I was about to drop out, a girl approached me and said she was going to report me for my usage of dark magics. Not wanting to leave behind a trace, I killed her and was about to make my exit when I remembered that Bienlyn—that was the girl’s name—had a boyfriend that she swore was madly in love with her. Killing her was done in haste. I could have just ran and become a defamed mage, but what I did next was nothing more than cold, slow, and deliberate.

“I decided to make her into a thrall, akin to what I did to Telind. I had heard of a spell that required two black soul gems, a heart of the race of the one becoming a thrall, a substantial amount of my Magicka pool, and of course the right incantation.  Luckily, being the prepared necromancer that I was, I easily performed the spell and Bienlyn was alive again.  Then I gave her a few tasks that she was bound to by magic: one, she had to refrain from doing ANYTHING that would give her away as to being a thrall, two, she had to continue her relationship with her boyfriend and act like she knew nothing of me whatsoever, three, if she felt like her boyfriend was about to explicitly say that he loved her she HAD to stop him from saying it, and lastly, if somehow he said that magic phrase then she was to respond in turn by saying ‘I love you too,’ followed by her kissing him passionately and then killing him in the most painful and excruciatingly slowly way possible.”

“W-w-wha… why!?” Niyleen shouted.  “No, before that, what’s this got to do with the here and now? He probably said ‘I love you’ in like a week and then you bailed. You fucked a few people over in your past, big deal! That doesn’t mean that you have to—”

Ch24p2_014.jpg

“I was at the College for a yeah and six months total.  Let that sink in.”

“Okay and?” Niyleen said not getting it yet.  “It doesn’t matter you still shouldn’t be willing to… didn’t you say you were ready to leave after three months.”

Nyleine nodded. “I watched and waited as that dumb boy made out and had sex with his dead girlfriend for over a year and three months. And I laughed. I laughed every day until he finally decided to just blurt the words out without any kind of forewarning and then the true fun began,” Nyleine said bitterly.

“What… what did you do…”

“Well… it happened on the same day I was going to bail from the College anyway, talking about timing huh? I… Bienlyn was already at the killing stage when I caught them.  Her boyfriend was confused and cried out for me and I did just as I had done for the last year and three months, I laughed. Oh I laughed and laughed as the love struck boy was killed by his undead girlfriend.   Then I laughed as I joined in on the killing and used Restoration magic to prolong the torture… I tortured that idiot for hours before I finally put him out of my misery.”

Ch24p2_015.jpg

Don’t you see now Sis? I really am a monster. So stop worrying about me… Nyleine faced her sister with a smile.  I did that. You can feel my emotions, hear my thoughts, I have no regrets about what I did, because it helped me become a better necromancer.  Everything I did up until I killed father is the same. So if I finally want to help someone out and the price is my death I’ll gladly do it, especially if it benefits my Big Sis.”

Ch24p2_016.jpg

“Even…even if this is all true… just how… how…” Niyleen grabbed at her head and felt lightheaded. “Y-you’re right.  I feel what you feel, I know what you think. Even so, I’m your Big Sister! I can’t just sit back and let you become some sacrifice regardless of your past!” Niyleen didn’t know where these words were coming from, but they definitely represented how she felt.

Ch24p2_017.jpg

Nyleine kept the cheesy smile on her face.  “Then let me break it to you like father told me, maybe this will help you understand Sis. I am nothing more, than half a filled soul gem, a collection of various child and animal parts, a piece of your hair, and a very powerful and old necromantic spell. I could make me if I wanted.”

Niyleen went pale.  “But you called me sister… you told me—”

“I just wanted to fulfill my selfish wish to have a family. I had you as the older sister, father’s soul as… well, the father, Telind as… well Telind’s kinda like a pet… It felt good. And in this dingy little lair, I had found a place that I could finally call… home.” And now that’s over.

Ch24p2_018.jpg

“It doesn’t have to be! I don’t care if we’re not technically sisters I don’t want to kill you I don’t—!!”

Nyleine closed her eyes, knelt in front of her, and raised her head.  “I get weaker by the second being near you, and yet I selfishly want to stay near you. I want to spend more time with you. Even if it hurts you, even if it tears at your heart. I am cruel Niyleen.  I’m a cruel bitch that wants to die. So let me. Put me out of my misery”

Ch24p2_019.jpg

(But I…)

Just do it. Naga said her voice booming throughout Niyleen’s head.

Please Niyleen.

Kill this bitch and become whole!

I beg of you…

Just DO IT ALREADY!!!

Ch24p2_020.jpg

Niyleen let out an angry scream and then unsheathed her sword.  “This is what you both want? Then fine! I hate you Nyleine, I hate you with every fiber in my being right now.”

I know you’re lying sister. I love you too. “That’s fine.”

Ch24p2_021.jpg

Niyleen knelt down before her Nyleine and said, “Are you sure about this? There’s still time to back out from this.”

Stop talking and just kill her before you pussy out!

Ch24p2_022.jpg

Silly girl.  I’m too late for saving. “This is the path I’ve chosen.  In a few moments we’ll finally be whole.  I regret nothing…”

Ch24p2_023.jpg

Unable to bear seeing the life being taken from a face so similar to hers, Niyleen went behind Nyleine and before she took her swing Nyleine turned her head and with a bright smile said, “Thank you for everything… Sis…”

Ch24p2_024.jpg

(You said it yourself I’m not your sister…) Niyleen shrugged off Nyleine’s words and swung at her head.  Just as she was about to do it, something in her stopped her and it was as if time froze and in this frozen piece of Nirn a familiar voice that didn’t belong to Niyleen, Nyleine, Telind or Nega screamed out to Niyleen saying, “LISTEN!”

Just as Niyleen did so, her head was flooded with wave after wave of Nyleine’s thoughts.

Please don’t kill me! I love you Big Sis. I don’t want to die. I’ll always be with you.  Complete, I wonder if it feels better than these past weeks did… Please Sis, make me stop saying these things! I’m so glad it’s you who ends my miserable existence. Make me want to live! I wanted to be a family just a bit longer… I knew this was always my fate. HELP ME SIS!! Niyleen, I hope you find your friends… I WANT TO LIVE!! So this is the end. I’m scared… In the end, I’m all alone… Save me Big Sister… Save me Niyleen… SAVE ME!!!

Ch24p2_025.jpg

Time unfroze and Niyleen threw herself back as hard as she could and avoided cutting more than a few strands of Nyleine’s hair.

S-she stopped!?! “A-a practice swing?”

Niyleen’s heart was pounding so hard she thought it was literally going to break free from her chest. (What the hell is wrong with me!!! How could I be so cold? So—) Niyleen shook her head reminded herself that none of this was about her.  It was about Nyleine. It was about her sister.

Ch24p2_027.jpg

“C-come on already. Do not wimp out on me now Niyleen!”

(I don’t know who or what did that, but thank you so much.)  Niyleen went over to her sister’s side, grab her by the head and lightly kissed her on the forehead.

“W-w-ww-w-w-w-ww-ut?!? What are you doing!? K-k-k-kill me! Kill me now!!” Gods, this is embarrassing.

Ch24p2_028.jpg

“Shut up and deal with it,” Niyleen said firmly, but lovingly.  “I’m the Big Sister after all. That means I have to protect you, and if that means protecting you from yourself or even me, I’ll make sure I do so.”

“B-b-but I’m a monster! I should die! I should—”

Niyleen could see the tears coming from her sister’s eyes and gently tightened her embrace. “You were young, dumb, and in desperate need for approval. You were alone, raised by a man that wanted perfection and expected nothing less.  You are my darkness and I am your light. Together we are stronger than we’d ever be separate.” She gently stroked her sister’s hair and kissed her on the forehead.  “It’s okay to be vulnerable Nyleine, it’s okay to do some bad from time to time. Nobody is perfect.  It’s fine to not be strong all the time.  You are not alone anymore. You have Big Sis to rely on from now on, so…” Just let go.

Why are you okay with me? My past? Why are you… Nyleine must have somehow heard her because she took a sigh of relief, closed her eyes, and just let out all of her emotions in one full go.

Ch24p2_029.jpg

With this new step into deepening their sisterly bond, the two sisters laughed cried and embraced one another as emotions neither sister imagined began to surface.

However, even with this new development everything was still not as it seemed…

Ch24p2_030.jpg

“H-hey there! Calm down Sis,” Niyleen said as Nyleine squeezed her tightly around her waist.  “I know I said to just let go, but I… can’t… breathe…”

You’re such a bad liar. I KNOW how someone sounds when they can’t breathe. “Aww you’re no fun,” Nyleine said playfully while loosening her grip on her sister. “Just admit that you were embarrassed.”

(Keep your cool. Keep your cool!) Niyleen felt her face warm up.  “Pshaw! M-me? Embarassed? I’m Flame-Child! The—”

“..Raging Inferno of the Reach, I know I know. I was embarrassed too.”

Ch24p2_031.jpg

“Get off me you idiot!” Niyleen said as she lightheartedly pushed Nyleine off of her.

“Nuh-uh. I’m never letting you go Big Sis,” Nyleine said joyfully as she squeezed her slightly tighter.

“Gods help! She’s got me in a vice…”

“I see that you two are doing well.”

Ch24p2_032.jpg

“Oh! Hey Telind.” His wasn’t a face she wanted to see right now, but with her sister wrapped around her, it’d have to do.  “This… I can’t even begin to explain how we ended up like this considering how we both had been acting lately.”

“Why isn’t she dead…”

“What was that? I didn’t hear you all that well.”

Ch24p2_033.jpg

“Mistress said I’d finally be free…”

“Nyleine did? But aren’t you her thrall? Wouldn’t you like… die if that happened?”

“Mistress freed me, Mistress led me….” His voice was getting louder with every word, yet Niyleen still had no idea what was going on.

Ch24p2_034.jpg

“Calm down sage. Nyleine never said anything like—”

“Why is that bitch still alive?!” Telind narrowed his eyes and glared at Nyleine.  “Why didn’t you kill her? You useless waste of space!!”

Ch24p2_035.jpg

“What in Oblivion has gotten into you thrall,” Niyleen said as she held her sister tighter to her. “I won’t let anything happen to you, okay,” she whispered softly to her sister.  Nyleine nodded and burrowed her dead into Niyleen’s chest.

Ch24p2_036.jpg

“What’s gotten into me?” Telind took a step towards them and cracked his neck.  “I remember how we met. How she enticed me, told me all sorts of things while getting me liquored up so that I wouldn’t be able to put up much of a fight when she killed me.”

“You’ve been hers for months now! Why are you bringing this up now?”

“Are you saying that an undead should not feel fury, rage, wrath towards the person who killed them?” Telind began to snarl as he spoke.  “I’ve wanted to kill this cowardly bitch every day, but was bound to stay loyally by her side like the pet she thinks I am. WELL NO MORE! My new Mistress has released those bonds and all that’s left, is your dead necromancer!”

Ch24p2_038.jpg

Niyleen pushed her sister off of her, rose to her feet and drew her blade.

“Oh what are you doing now? You’re seriously going to protect that murderer right there!? You’ve heard the acts she’s capable of! How can you defend… that?”

“Niyleen…” Don’t abandon me… not now...

Ch24p2_039.jpg

(I won’t, that I promise.) “Yeah she’s murdered some people, and done despicable acts that I can’t even begin to wrap my head around…”

Nyleine’s eyes widened in horror. N-no… Niy… Big Sis…

“So why are you protecting trash like that? Step aside and let me have my vengeance!!”

Ch24p2_040.jpg

“Trash? You think murdering someone makes you trash?”

“It makes you worse than trash.”

“I see…” Niyleen glared at the Altmer and raised his blade to him. “You not only insult my sister, and my entire family but you prove to be a hypocrite as well.  Other than the Forsworn and the Silver-Bloods, that’s the one thing I can’t stand.”

Ch24p2_041.jpg

“Makes sense that trash would pile together,” Telind said unflinching.  “But do you really think you wanna go again? I let you beat me last time.”

“That’s what a loser always says. Besides, now that you’re after my sister, I don’t have to hold back anymore.”

Ch24p2_042.jpg

Telind fell into an offensive stance of his own.  “You don’t get it. I am dead, which means I have full access the all the power in my body. I have no inhibitions, and no qualms about beating the face in of my Mistress as an appetizer before the main course.”

A grin appeared on Niyleen’s face.  “I may not have a side in that idiotic Civil War, but oh how I’ll enjoy beating the shit out of you Altmer.”

Ch24p2_043.jpg

“But… can we move over to the center of the room? I’d like to not get Nyleine involved as of right now.”

I can’t believe you’re still thinking about me through all of this… I don’t deserve this kindness…

Ch24p2_044.jpg

“Fine Redguard,” Telind said with disdain. “Doesn’t matter where I defeat you. Plus you can’t make any excuses when you’re down on your back looking up at me with weak tear stained eyes.”

Ch24p2_045.jpg

After a slight relocation, Telind and Niyleen stared each other down for a while before the Altmer said, “Well what are we waiting for? What? Are you cowardly like your incompetent sister over there? She couldn’t kill you and you her.”

Ch24p2_046.jpg

Niyleen shook her head and threw her sword to the ground finally garnering a reaction she wanted from the Altmer, shock.

“Are you insane? I’m not going to go easy on you!”

“Easy? On me?” Niyleen smirked and put her fists up.  “You’re not Eolri, you’re not Nanae, you’re not the voice in my head, and you’re not either of my parents. You’re a weak little dead thrall that thinks its balls are bigger than its head. So undead or not, I’m ending you right now!”

Ch24p2_047.jpg

“Terrible choice for last words…”

Ch24p2_048.jpg

Part Two:

The two of them charged at each other, Telind taking to the air and Niyleen sticking to the ground.  (Stupid thrall…) Although impressed with the Altmer’s brashness, head had too many openings from which to exploit. (This’ll be a cakewalk.)

Ch24p2_049.jpg

“Wai-what!? Where’d you go, coward?!” When Telind landed his fist caught nothing and Niyleen was nowhere to be seen. Ch24p2_050.jpg

(Let’s end this) Niyleen circled around Telind waiting for the perfect moment to strike…

Ch24p2_051.jpg

Which came when Telind turn toward her and she caught him with a raising kick to the face that spun the Altmer before felling him.

Ch24p2_053.jpg

When he rose to his feet, Telind tried to trade punches with Niyleen but for each he threw, she connected with two in return. This continued until Telind when all-in with a wild haymaker that Niyleen countered with a flawless hook straight on the jaw. While he was dazed, Niyleen quickly followed that up with a vicious roundhouse kick that was succeeded by a jumping knee all to his face. And once again Telind was laid out on the ground.

Ch24p2_056.jpg

Ch24p2_057.jpg

Ch24p2_058.jpg

Ch24p2_059.jpg

“What happened to all that ‘her-der I have full access the all the power in my body’ crap,” Niyleen taunted as Telind continued to lie there motionlessly. “Going easy on me... I’M the one that should have held back!”

Ch24p2_060.jpg

Telind took a  deep gasp for air and looked at Niyleen like head seen a ghost.  “This… this can’t be happening!? I’m not supposed to lose! Mistress said… MISTRESS SAID—”

Ch24p2_061.jpg

“You have no ‘Mistress,’” Niyleen said as she looked down a how pathetic he was acting. “The only thing you have is a beat down coming to you if you ever step to me or my sister ever again!”

Ch24p2_062.jpg

“No! No! No! No! No! No! No! No! No! No! Boethiah, you told me everything would go as planned! Have you forsaken me? Have I done something out of line?”

(Boethiah?) Niyleen looked over to her sister who simply shook her head.

Ch24p2_063.jpg

As Telind continued to spit out unintelligible words, Niyleen walked over to him and said, “What’s this about Boethiah? What connection do you have to the Prince of Plots?”

Ch24p2_064.jpg

She waited for his reply but only more unintelligible garble and the occasional Boethiah were what she received. (Surely he’s in shock, but even for someone like him this is a bit… much.)

Ch24p2_065.jpg

Fed up with this nonsense, Niyleen shouted, “Look here Altmer! I don’t care about your fantasized relationship with a Daedric Prince, but I beat your ass handedly now get out of my sight before I pound you into dust!”

Ch24p2_066.jpg

“Boethiah I need you now! Please! Goddess of Destruction, Deceiver of Nations, Queen of Shadows, I need your help!”

Niyleen cracked her knuckles.  “That’s it, I’ve had it with your shit! You better start praying to Boethiah now for protection because I’m about to—”

Ch24p2_067.jpg

“Haaa… Your plight is amusing, though your executions thus far were less than satisfactory…”

“Boethiah!?” Niyleen and Telind said simultaneously.

Ch24p2_068.jpg

Nilyeen knelt down next to Telind and said, “By the Nine… You idiot! You actually made contact with a Daedric Prince!? Are you mad?”

“Ha! Hahahaaha! Mad? No, I will beat you now! I will show you just  how powerful I truly am!!”

Ch24p2_069.jpg

“So you have fight still in you, undead? Then my presence her is meaningless! Why does thou waste my time?”

“Nononono! I-I need you Mistress! I need your assistance please aid me!”

Niyleen’s eyes widened.  “Y-you fool!  It doesn’t matter how much you beg! She’s playing you. Stop this nonsense and get out of—”

Ch24p2_070.jpg

“Assistance you say? Then I shall give you my boon, undead. Show these mortals that never again will Boethiah name be drug through the dirt. Show me your resolve…”

“Y-yes… Mistress.”

Ch24p2_071.jpg

(This damn idiot!) Niyleen reached out to grab Telind when suddenly she was flung through the air across the room, hitting the back of her head on the wall and momentarily knocking her out.

Ch24p2_072.jpg

Ch24p2_073.jpg

When Niyleen came to, she felt weak and shaky.  (Did I get hit by a giant?) She thought while trying to focus her vision.

Ch24p2_074.jpg

“Yes… YES! This is what I wanted! This power! I FEEL ALIVE!!” Telind laughed manically.

Ch24p2_075.jpg

“I could take down an army! No, I could singlehandedly destroy both sides of the Civil War and still have more than enough power left to kill you two.  This is my power! MINE!!”

Ch24p2_076.jpg

“He’s high on power like I was that time…” Niyleen said as she slowly got up and made her way towards Telind.

Ch24p2_077.jpg

“Aha! And here she is, the woman of the hour! Thank you for allowing me to harness this strength. Aha! I couldn’t have done it without you.”

“Tsk, no problem…”

Telind slowly lowered himself to the ground and glowered at her.  “Sarcasm. That’s no way to talk to your superior and better!”

Ch24p2_078.jpg

Ch24p2_079.jpg

“Maybe I’ll have to teach you a thing or two about respect you low life creature.”

Niyleen looked up at the energy charged Telind and smirked as she saw him leap into the air and try to attack her once again.  (Heh, again he’s coming at me with this dumb attack. Doesn’t he know that I’ll just—)

She took a step back, but was still struck in the face so hard that she flipped a couple of times in the air before landing face first in the dirt.

(I thought I dodged that! Did I misjudge the distance?) Tring to get up she elbowed something sharp. (And now I’m cutting myself on my sword… Get back in the game Niyleen!!!)

Ch24p2_082.jpg

Niyleen heard Telind walk over towards her and rolled her eyes inwardly. (This is going to be annoying isn’t it…)

“Aww… is the older sister all tuckered out now? Does she need a widdle nap?”

(…Julianos, give me strength.)

Ch24p2_083.jpg

“AHAHAHAHAHAAHA! Did you really think you could beat me?” Telind said looking down at Niyleen in disdain. “I’m undead, all-powerful, an Altmer, and simply stronger than you and your feeble sister combined, merged or whatever you idiots were trying to do by killing each other.” Telind looked toward Nyleine and licked his lips.  “Maybe after I grind your face in, I’ll take my time with your sister. I’ll finally get my hands on her and before I slit her throat, I’d like to, ehe, let her have a feel of my superiority. Eheheheeeh…  AHAHAAHAHAHAHAAAAA!”

Ch24p2_084.jpg

“Get up Niyleen. I know you can win…” Because if you don’t… I don’t know if I’m physically strong enough to take him…

Ch24p2_085.jpg

(That’s not even a problem Sis.) Niyleen looked up and saw that Telind was still laughing his head off completely unaware of her.  Slowly she grabbed her sword and transferred it to her right hand.  Shen then looked up again.  (Still laughing I see? Ignorant little man.) Then Niyleen sprang to her feet and before anyone could blink, delivered a multitude of slashes across Telind’s stomach before he could flinch.

Ch24p2_086.jpg

Ch24p2_087.jpg

“W-what was that? I feel… weird…”

Ch24p2_088.jpg

“That was the feeling of defeat… again,” Niyleen said knowing she had won.

“Y-you bitch what did you do to me!?!”

“There was only one person that ever defeated this technique, sadly that person is dead now,” Niyleen said with pain in her voice. “But as long as I remember her teachings there’s no one that I can’t beat. You said you were all powerful, but once again you were just all talk.”

Ch24p2_089.jpg

“Ravager Style Secret Technique Number 568: Hurricane of the Daedra Slayer.” (I hate you so much Eolri…) She sighed and sheathed her sword.  “Back to dust.”

“GGYAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA!!!!” All at once, Telind felt the effects of Niyleen’s attack and fell to his feet as his shrieks flooded the lair.

Ch24p2_090.jpg

“Boethiah…” he said weakly. “I’ve…. Failed…”

Ch24p2_093.jpg

(Dammit little sis, you’ve got to make your thralls less durable.) She rubbed the back of her head and once she saw Boethiah’s boon begin to dissipate she walked over towards Nyleine.

Ch24p2_092.jpg

“I told you Sis,” Niyleen said with a bright smile.  “I’m going to always protect you no matter what. So just count on me from now on.”

“Big Sis…” I’m so glad this is over now…

Ch24p2_091.jpg

“So do you want to go eat anywhere later?” Niyleen asked  “It’ll be my treat, plus we need to get out of this dingy lair from time to time just to, ya know, stretch our legs.”

I’d like to try some Whiterun delicacies… “Um… t-that’s alright. Besides, you’ve got to be tired with all the—”

Niyleen have her a thumbs up.  “Okay Whiterun it is! I’ve heard there are some amazing meals menu items at—”

Ch24p2_094.jpg

“Niyleen! BEHIND YOU!!!” N-no! It’s not over yet!!

Ch24p2_096.jpg

“Is this a joke? What do you mean it’s not…” Niyleen turned around and came face to face with the Mer she had just all but killed. However, he was now fully armored and wielding a giant blade that he was currently holding above his head.

“Did you miss me,” Telind said in a voice that sounded ethereal.

Ch24p2_097.jpg

Niyleen was frozen. “H-how? I killed you!”

“And people should die when they’re killed?” He said smugly. Ch24p2_098.jpg

“Well you forgot that I’m your sister’s thrall, blessed by the Goddess of Destruction, and currently…”

Ch24p2_099.jpg

“… THE VICTOR!” He said as he brought his sword down. Niyleen tried to block it but it was no use, Telind broke her guard, slashed her across the torso and watched as the Redguard’s blood began to pool around her.

“NIYLEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEN!!!!”

Great stories here! My interest in Skyrim took heart again after about half a year of not coming back to it, and now I'm looking to post a story using a new and improved run. Mind you, my system is crap and I have no ENB, so there. :P

One thing though (pardon my asking a probably not-so-intuitive question), besides the common pose mods, Puppeteer Master/Familiar Faces, etc. , are there any specific mods you guys feel is absolutely needed to fuel a good story?

Edit: Another thing, if I may: Is there any specific mod most people use to position non-follower NPCs (maybe even enemies) for their screenshots? I'm only familiar with Puppeteer Master, but that hasn't been updated in forever so I'm kind of hesitant to boot it up.

There's a lot to cover here so I'll place them in a spoiler.

Having a good system for high res and ENB is not the purpose of this thread if you're concerned about that. Screenshots are just a means to accompany the story as a visual aid IMO. So long as your heart's in the work that you do, everything will come together nicely in the end. As for your questions:

When you mention pose mods, I'm assuming you have pinup poser AND halo poser? There's also a few made by our resident modder Shocky that are really good. If your story is also going to have sex in it, then you can again use those made by Shocky as well as SexLab and Non-SexLab animation pack.

Now about positioning NPCs for your shots, I myself just use console commands. I'll use my Watch the Skies as an example here:

1. Turn off all AI using tai, if they are hostile NPCs (such as the Thalmor) use tcai to also turn off their combat AI. Now everyone will stand around in an idle pose.

2. Spawn the NPCs you plan to use, UESP is a great site to look up their codes. It can take some guess work; it seemed like every Thalmor I spawned was female and to avoid looking like a misogynistic asshole I kept going until I got males. I disabled the ones I wasn't going to use by going into console then clicking on them and entering 'disable'.

3. To move them where you want, you may have to enable their AI again (tai), then click on your character and enter tc which stand for 'toggle control'. Select an NPC you want to move and click them, using tc again to gain control over them. Position them to where you want, then click directly on them and use the tai. A little thing about the tai command, if nothing is targeted when you use it, it will affect all actors. When you have someone targeted however, it freezes them in place, perfect for locking them into a pose. This even works on objects (dead bodies) in the air to keep gravity from taking over. Once that's done, use tc to go to the next actor or back to your PC.

4. If you're posing NPCs using one of the above mentioned posers, the same applies in #3 except you have to take the extra step to use whatever spell included in the mod to use it on them. Use tai to lock them in place so they don't move. FYI, you may need to use toggle collision or tcl to align actors in poses that may normally push them around without using it.

That covers almost everything. If you have further questions, don't hesitate to ask me.

My Turn

(Dawnguard spoilers)

Turn1.jpg

In search of her mother, Serana has found and opened a portal to the Soul Cairn with the aid of the Dragonborn. There is just one problem...

"Wait... So I have to be a vampire to pass through that?"

Turn3.jpg

"It would seem so. Either that or I have to soul trap you."

Turn4.jpg

"Soul trap? Yeah, no thanks. But... I really don't want to become a vampire, 'Rana."

Turn5.jpg

"Trust me. I can empathise. It's the idea of being an undead, inhuman... thing. Right?"

Turn6.jpg

"Well, I can't say I'm over the moons at the prospect but... Not really. I don't mind that part of it so much."

Sif begins nervously pacing around the chamber

"So it's the thought of being shunned, sometimes even attacked, just for what you are."

Turn7.jpg

"Uh, nope. Not especially. Again, not something I'm crazy about, but it's more than that."

Turn8.jpg

"Ah. Then it's the drinking blood part. The idea of feeding on your victims."

Turn9.jpg

"Actually, that part's kind of hot!"

Turn10.jpg

"Then what is it?"

"Well... I just..."

"Yes?"

Turn11.jpg

"I just really, really don't want to..."

"Don't want to what?"

"...Sparkle."

Turn12.jpg

"Sparkle!? Sif... have you been reading those crappy Twilight books again?"

Turn13.jpg

"No! Uh... maybe. I... All right, yes. But they're so... romantic."

Turn14.jpg

"By the blood of my ancestors...! Sif, we've talked about this. Real vampires do not sparkle. Look at me. Do I sparkle?"

Turn15.jpg

"Well... No."

"No. I don't. And that's because the only thing that 'sparkles' when you're a vampire are your orgasms. They're much more intense."

Turn16.jpg

"They... they are?"

"Ohhhh, yes."

"Huh. Well why didn't you say so? Where do I sign up?"

Turn17.jpg

"All right, little Sif. Hold still now. This will only hurt for a moment..."

Turn18.jpg

"...And when it's done you'll be opening your eyes on a whole new world."

Turn19.jpg

CHOMP

"Woah! I can see so many colours!"

Turn20.jpg

"I know."

"And I feel so alive. And so... horny!"

"Oh, yes. I know. Exhilarating, isn't it?"

"Mmm. So, Mummy? Are you going to help me try the orgasm thing before we find Grandma, or after?"

Turn21.jpg

*sigh* "You're going to be a problem child, aren't you?"

Turn22.jpg
