Rokabur Posted December 13, 2013 Posted December 13, 2013 Why do different weapons temper different amounts at the grindstone when you have the same smithing skill, same enchantment to fortify smithing and you have all the smithing perks? On UESP the base damage for Volundrung is 25 and Ebony Blade is 11. Yet with the same smithing skill,fortify smithing and perks, Ebony Blade tempers to much higher damage then Volundrung. For my current character, Ebony Blade tempers to almost 400 damage while Volundrung tempers to about 290 damage.
