kakacarrotcake269 Posted October 20, 2024 Posted October 20, 2024 I downloaded a standalone follower mod. The author set her to stay in an inn called Frozen Heart. I wanted to change her location to outside. So I opened her in Creation Kit. Then in "worldplace", I found Frozen Heart and deleted her there. Then chose an outdoor location in "worldplace", I drag her name (from actor tag) and put her in that outdoor location. Then I saved as a new esp. But when I opened the game, she was still in Frozen Heart... I don't understand.. Please help..

But I think I would like to know how to do so in Creation Kit If you loaded a previous save and were close by she may appear in that inn from the save. Anyway, you did it the correct way you delete the npc out of the cell then dropped the ref of her into another. (make sure the mod saved cleanly in CK though). This is not the case given you found and deleted the ref for her - some modders add npcs by script via a spawn point could be on any object like a idle marker, etc...

I see thank you. Umm do you know how to delete this: 'some modders add npcs by script via a spawn point could be on any object like a idle marker". Since if that script is still on, i cant change follower's location, right?

If it is done via a script you have to find the script and edit it. Edited October 30, 2024 by eflat01
