LOL I played 100% of the game without noticing this, how did you manage to get that perspective? If I can replicate it I might fix it.

Spoiler

i used xenomods. you get it at https://github.com/BlockBuilder57/xenomods/actions/runs/15355894384 you'll need to log in.

you can use freecam, speed, moonjump, warp points, to clip through walls that have bodies of water.

once i get them there, i change the rendering control settings like in the picture. then i use freecam & turn on relative to player, move the camera angle, & swim or moonjump to get the views i want.

i included saves, they're all the same, so you don't need to go through a wall yourself. there's also a warp file but it's not necessary. to use warp file, put config folder in sd card folder.

In order to make these mods usable with SimpleModManager on a modded Switch, I whipped up this python3 script to make batch conversion easy, as long as you have installed python to PATH during python installation.

It checks the folder structure of the other folders in the same directory as the script and corrects them to the expected structure for SMM based on the user-inputted TitleID for the game. However, it only checks the first-level of the folders in the directory, so the mods that are in nested folders (like the feet options) will need to be moved up a level before running the script.

So for use with sinon's Update3, you need to do the following:

  1. Move the contents of the "Feet options" and "_PREGNANTMODS" folders into the Update3 folder so that all of the mod folders are in the same folder
  2. Unzip the script into the Update3 folder
  3. Open a command prompt or PowerShell terminal in the Update3 folder and enter "python SwitchModFolderPrep.py"
  4. When asked for Titled ID, input 0100FF500E34A000
  5. After it has confirmed that processing is complete, copy the contents of the Update3 folder (but not the Update3 folder itself) to sd:\Mods\Xenoblade Chronicles Definitive Edition\ on your Switch's SD card.

Feet options?

Feet options?

The way the current Update3.zip download is structured has some of the mods in nested folders. The script I uploaded doesn't check beyond the first level of folders in the same directory as the script, so those mods would be ignored for processing unless those folders are moved up a level.

Plus, the way that SMM expects the folder structure to be is "sd:\Mods\(Game Name)\(Mod Name)\contents\(TitleID)\(rest of mod folder contents)". What my script does is change up the folder structure of mods ready to use with emulators to meet the requirements for SMM. That way, you can just copy all of the folders in the same directory as the script to "sd:\Mods\(Game Name)\" and SMM will be able to enable/disable the mods as you see fit.

As for what feet options are currently available, it's much easier to just download the zip and look for yourself. I didn't make the mods. I just made them easier to use with real hardware and SMM, as using SMM is a much better way to install/uninstall mods than copying straight to "sd:\atmosphere\contents\".

Edit: Realized that my originally uploaded script only checks for a "romfs" folder. Updated the script posted here so that it checks for both "romfs" and "exefs" folders, which should make it compatible with pretty much every Switch game mod folder structure I've seen. If Switch mod devs know of another universally relevant folder name that I've missed, let me know and I'll update the script.

I updated some of them in my discord server, but not here

Alot of these mods need to be updated though. Some of them are very rough

XC1 mods preview images.zip None of these are new mods

and the no lines is in reference to one of the characters who has lines on their body, and those lines have been removed
