AlphaAndOmega Posted October 18, 2024 Posted October 18, 2024 Due to having a large number of script-heavy mods that do periodic checks I've started to notice slowdowns. Just by watching the fps counter in the Live Another Life starting cell I can see it dip 10 frames on regular intervals. If it was Rimworld, I'd bring up the Performance Analyzer and look at the update/tick time and find the culprit there. Here, I'm rather limited. I know that Elephant's script latency test exists, it shows an average latency of 80 ms, which is within acceptable parameters (With high spikes reaching ~100ms though). It shows that the problem possibly exists, but is unable to show me the cause. So, how do you usually debug the fps drops?
