Installation notes and in-game setting edits:
1. Must be specifically placed in the ~mods folder while the original protogen mod is in the paks folder Install path is as follows: Palworld>Pal>Content>Paks (protogen mod goes here)>~mods (NSFW edit goes here)

2. Enter the character edit menu via new game or the Antique Dresser to select your body/head look preferences. Due to how the original author made the base mod, genders are inverse of what the game defaults to (body 1 is female by default but intended to be male for the mod). Body 2 is female, Body 3 is a Hermaphrodite/Futa body. Head 1 and 2 have animated blinking but no other expressions, the other heads are static.
 

3. To change your Gender as recognized by SCake: A. Press Shift+Y to bring up the UniPalUi menu. B. Click Project Sugar Cake, then Preference Settings. C. Change player gender to whatever you like. Technically this only changes what animations are available, full futa allowing any male or female restricted animations to be played regardless of what body is being used.

4. This only works for Steam install, if someone wants to make a gamepass version you're free to do so, just notify me before posting so I can make sure everything is cleared beforehand.

5. Plasteel armor will break the inventory character display and the character body on load specifically, the second one can be fixed by just un-equipping and re-equipping the armor.

That would be an entirely different model (if it exists), one that is not rigged for palworld. Actually 'removing' the plating would make both areas transparent.

Took a while for a few reasons (half being I only found out the base mod was updated 2 weeks after it was) but yes, thanks to temtemlover for the fix.
Sadly the nice visual update for body 1 will be reverted since it would basically require a full redo with the new model. That being said it will once again work and hopefully not be broken again for at least a while.
Same installation instructions apply, though there's only 1 download (v2.2) for the base mod now so that's slightly easier.
Edit: forgot I can just replace the main file.
