How to Install the Forbidden Frames Mod for Silent Hill 2

1. Download the Mod:

   • Locate the ForbiddenFrames.rar file you downloaded.

2. Extract the RAR File:

   • Right-click on the ForbiddenFrames.rar file.
   • Select Extract Here (or use your preferred extraction tool to extract it).

3. Locate the Extracted Files:

   • You should see a file named ForbiddenFrames.pak after extraction.

4. Copy the Pak File:

   • Right-click on ForbiddenFrames.pak and select Copy.

5. Paste into the Game Directory:

   • Navigate to the following folder:
     Copy code

     D:\Steam\steamapps\common\SILENT HILL 2\SHProto\Content\Paks\~mods
      
   • Right-click in the folder and select Paste to place the ForbiddenFrames.pak file here.

6. Launch the Game:

   • Start Silent Hill 2 from Steam to enjoy the mod!

If you're here for support because they aren't working in game, I am aware. As I said in the file details, it's just a temporary file upload for now because I'm having trouble figuring out how to pack up the PNG's and make them work. I can get them packed, but they aren't working in game. I'm not sure if that's because I have to rebuild all their materials or what but, I'm trying to figure it out so please just be patient. If you know how to do it, then feel free to let me know, it would be a great help since I can't find info online about how to do it myself, and ChatGPT has been useless for a week now.
