Try adding this to either a new .ini file or at the bottom of the existing .ini file if you're on NA

Thanks! That fixed almost everything. Only thing not working is everything outside the shop

Okay, off work~! Things I've noticed:

The posters don't display from a distance.

From this side, the parking doesn't display sometimes. Seems finickey, like, on and off at random distances.

All TVs outside have repeating frames overlaying the animations. But they do still animate!

Other than these things, everything else from what I can see, works just fine! From within the parking lot, and inside the store, everything displays correctly!

I think you've done well tbf to get only those few errors really considering this is literally from a different server hash.. ppl are already posting fixes for NA. be rest assured that in EU there is none of those issues, distance stuff wise.. not that I've noticed really, also if you read the 'known issues & FAQ's' section I put with the mod or read the 'read me' in the mod, then yh the adult channel tv's don't really work as they are meant to..😕 both me and mikeytb couldn't figure it out.. tvs downstairs have distance issues, switching channels and yeah, the tv outside has like weird 'u can see the dds kinda' behind it at certain angles.. but bro,.. I'm yet to see/own an adult channel mod that ain't broke in some way.. the fact is, that if you tell the game to use the dds it want's to, then we don't get channel selects or different stuff in belle's room etc...cos if you just use the one dds and one hash... there is ZERO issues with ANY TV at any time of day or distance...HOWEVER you only then get ONE video playing in EVERY ROOM 😭... so mehhhhhh this is like the best I could do....there's 7 new videos I made tho... look in the folders.

(America Server) The only issues for me is the posters behing the TV in the intro screen and the TVs outside of Random Play. Textures display at any distance inside and outside the store, everything else looks perfect. Thanks for the awesome mod!

Amazing, one thing i noticed is the login screen is only partially changed

Using this fix with Slap's dll (I don't know if this is the same as the one bundled with Waifu Shop, or not, but it's the one I was using already) seems to work perfectly on NA servers. I did not go through and verify everything, but I do not see any broken textures yet. I can confirm that both the posters on the title screen and the tvs/posters outside the shop work perfectly as well.

p.s. Wise is a real freaky bro, huh lmao

EDIT: The 3 monitors on the desk at the HDD are lagging (or are very low fps, like 4)

I've seen your aforementioned fix before, but I read that it still wasn't always consistent either. I'll do some testing when I have the time.

 

As far as behavior goes, the current fix will still break Jane's face in combat during the time when both Lucy and Jane are on the field, but will go away when Lucy's model deloads. It's only for a split second and is more or less unnoticeable unless you're actively looking for it.

 

First of all, props to Mohawk32 and chatgpt for the most stable solution to the Lucy/Jane hash conflict that I've seen yet. The only time I've been able to break it is the part that I'm not expecting to be able to find a fix for at all - a 0.2 second window or thereabouts where you swap from Jane to Lucy and Jane loses her bangs and disappears. I'd say that's good enough at this point. See the associated .ini for the fix - I've purposefully disabled Leo's fix for it to highlight the fact that this fix is just better.

 

Secondly, this is a common issue with frankensteining Lucy mods together - the boots and the hair have different texture IBs, but use the same diffuse hash. So if you want to put stuff together from different mods, make sure their hair diffuse map dimensions match or you're going to see some sort of bleedover from the body diffuse map. The hair mod used stretched the dimensions from 2048x2048 to 4096x2048, but luckily there exists a similar twintail mod from https://gamebanana.com/mods/543575 that kept the dimension at 2048x2048, which is what I've used here. Let me know if there's any problems with it.

EU SERVER

 

I made this mod on my server. I am EU, I have zero idea what will and won't work on other servers, however even if it doesn't work the DDS's I've painted will still be of use to you, as you can just drag n drop/replace DDS's in whatever mod you have which is ALREADY working on your server...

 

THE ADULT CHANNELS DON'T WORK AS THEY SHOULD

 

These channels/hashes have been cobbled together from 4 other mods.. there is 7 BRAND NEW videos I have animated for these channels, however the TV's downstairs have some kind of draw distance issue.. and they won't change channel independently as they claim. I reached out on here for help and received no reply. The Tv upstairs in Belle's room work fine. no issues.. and the tv channel outside has no distance or time issues. It's the best I could get going.. as I could get the tv's downstairs to work fine but it just killed the outside TV.. I'm sure someone will be able to fix it.. and when they do.. remember to send me across a working version so I can package it in with this mod for everyone. TV Adult channel dds's are all the same frame rate, so feel free to hard swap the dds's in the folders to get around not being able to change channel properly... basically when you close or faraway from a tv it will default to the outside tv dds.. so it's kinda like a channel change without having to press anything.. but it just sucks it won't play vids as it should. but mehhhh... both me and mikeytb couldn't figure it out so meh.

 

WHY IS EVERYTHING PURPLE, I HATE PURPLE

 

Within this mod is a guide I've written on how to change the textures YOURSELF to whatever you wan't , All my dds's are clean and neat,, meaning it's super easy to switch out new posters or colour change anything. Make Waifu shop YOUR OWN. I'll be excited to see how this mod grows and what ppl can do with what I've given you here. 

 

WILL THIS AFFECT OTHER MODS I HAVE FOR RANDOM PLAY?

 

YES!!! this mod is a 'one mod to rule them all' for Random Play and it's surroundings (carpark) it will replace everything, including graffiti mods, as i needed to delete some textures from surfaces which are only on the graffiti dds.. so make sure to remove ANYTHING associated with Random Play, including promoters for the store...

 

DRAW DISTANCE ISSUE WITH WISE MEMORY BOARD

 

The Memory board in Wise's room has a draw distance issue. but nothing major, just walk up to the board and the textures will load in, you only have to do it once per play session, it's not like it blinks on/off.. you literally just walk up to it once. 

 

WHERE DID YOU GET ALL THE ART?

 

Same place you do, difference being that 90% of the art you see in this mod I have tweaked myself. I have 'fixed' lot's of art that looks wrong, AI pics with Belle's hair wrong, or ear rings wrong etc..I have corrected. I have also removed clothing and enhanced parts myself to look more like the agent. The bathroom door of Zhu Yuan for example.. the og looks nothing like that.. It's ME that has revealed her ass and given her a nice thong.. I have no artists to thank as it's me who has made everything more palatable, meaning that much of the art you see in this mod exists nowhere else but here...  

 

 

CAN WE SHARE THIS MOD ELSEWHERE?

 

Yes please do, however please don't think of stripping this mod apart and then trying to take credit/or payment for it. I am giving this mod to everyone for free. I believe all mods should be free. All I would ask is that wherever you wan't to upload this mod remember to credit both me and mikeytb. Everyone here knows it's us who made it. Don't be THAT GUY... 

 

WILL THIS MOD BE AVAILABLE IN SMALLER PARTS?

 

Yes. I will split  the mod myself and upload what I can , wherever I can.. pls don't hassle me straight away just cos you want this or that COS you actually LIKE the vanilla ver of Random Play...  I will try and upload as much broken down versions of this as I can.. but for now.. either take it as it's whole , or don't. 

 

 

 

This has been SUCH a dedication and taken A LOT of work.. I genuinely hope that everyone enjoys this twisted version of Random Play... I urge everyone to show off this mod, I wanna see Waifu Shop everywhere. ..

yh bro, did no-one read any of the mod description out of pure excitement!! ha ha I say there about the monitors/tv's on the desk... the frame rate is hella hella slow... what you're seeing there I had to speed up like 7 times the speed to animate, and even then the playback is slow.. it's why I worked with it and made it look like wise is purposely slowing down and zooming in on his favourite bits 😅.. cos to go any faster, from an animators point of view, it means you are missing large chunks of frames as you move one frame along, making the animation look jumpy.. like it was made in the 30's ... its why u aint seen other mods flying out with those screens.. cos they are a nightmare to try and animate... oh and the original dds to paint has zero clear borders for frames.. making it completey guess work....

 

*DON'T ASK HOW LONG IT TOOK JUST TO ANIMATE THOSE MONITORS*  *DIES INSIDE ALL OVER AGAIN 😭
