Unable to toggle between CBPC and SMP with BHUNP body (stuck on SMP)

This was working fine before, I'm not sure what changed.

It used to be possible to toggle between SMP and CBPC physics with the press of a hotkey (configurable under BHUNP 3BBB MCM menu, default: NUM+ key).

But now, it's permanently stuck on SMP mode, even if I toggle on CBPC.

It's only when I turn off SMP completely (from the FSMP MCM) that CBPC is allowed to function.

This used to work fine, but what changed?

I've tried tinkering with the BHUNP 3BBB settings in MCM to no avail.

Anyone got a clue?

P.S. - The reason for wanting to toggle between the two is that sometimes one works better than the other (for certain animations).

Replying to this because I have been having an issue with belly bulge that I finally realized is the same as yours from 2024

CBPC just suddenly stopped working. I use SMP but CBPC for belly only, and when I switch to CBPC mode I have 0 physics.

I also reinstalled all my body and physics mods and disabled my mod list down to the bare basics and it still isnt working.

It is crazy how a clean install will work for a month then suddenly break, and even reverting all your recent installs wont get you back to where you were lol.

Any help would be appreciated.

The reason for that most likely stems from that there is no on/off toggles in neither SMP's nor CBPC's API. The toggle in the MCM is doing some workaround to create the illusion of this. Last I checked it was done with hidden equipped items (like an invisible ring); as far as I know nothing has changed since then.

To put that another way, check what kind of items you have (or don't have) equipped, and you most likely find the answer. See my paper on finding physics presets if you need to trace the problem further. It's in my signature below.
