Asking about the mod Familiar Faces

I read the description of the mod, it said that while I'm playing as A char, I would meet my B char from another save, correct? But meet at where I wonder? Would this B char would roam all over the map, not just cities but the wild too?

typically you import them into your game and they act as a default follower and are marriageable. I don't think they have free roam though.

Did the mod author come back from hiatus? Last I heard he stopped updating it due to personal issues.

Anyway, from what I recall, you first have to load a save of the character you want to "import" to your current character. When you do that, you should have a tablet stone of sorts in the misc section of your inventory. Click on it, you will be teleported to this round room of sorts with different shrines. Approach one of the shrines, click on it, your character info will be "uploaded" to the shrine. After that's done, return to the center of the room to return to tamriel. Save game. Load the saved game of your other character. Repeat the process of opening the stone tablet. After the teleport to said round room, you can see your previous character in one of the shrines. Click on the book of his/her shrine and he will be teleported to Tamriel. Where? You can choose the location on the MCM menu. There was a default location but I can't remember where it was.

reading your comment make me remember now too when i used the mod on LE. The mod has unoffical SE patch.

Yeah, found that out after googling for it following your post. Already installed it and it's working quite well so far!
