Help with modding Novolus?

Hi, I'm following Azailahab guide on how to mod Novolus but I really don't understand how to associate output mods with their respective tools

Quote

ASSOCIATE OUTPUT MODS WITH THEIR RESPECTIVE TOOLS

Use 'modify executables' in MO2 to associate the various tools with their respective output files. Now when those tools are used they should write to those mods instead of the output mods for the profile Nolvus Ascension.

I followed everything before this point and I didn't go further, can I bother someone to help me?

tick the "Create files in mod instead of overwrite" for the tool and choose the correct folder:

Bodyslide tools in the list on the right goes into Azailahab - Bodyslide Output.

-What happens is that when u use any of those tools, the files created by said mod will end up in that folder instead of overwrite.

I believe this is what u asked about..

You have to use the blue + sign (top right) to make a new entry and then choose path in "Binary" (right side) and navigate to find the executables for the ones that are not already in the list (example: FNIS), u need all executables that shall be run through MO2 in that list.

Then you can connect them to output folders.

-It is not a critical to have them linked to output folders btw, you can always just run any executable through MO2 that does not have a set path for output and the output should end up in "Overwrite" (the last file in the left side of MO2 when u have no other windows open). You can then manually move those files to another folder.

I personally only link output folder to a few mods, like Xedit, and the rest I just move manually.

You can find it in mod organizer right window under "data" tab - tools/GenerateFNIS_for_Users or just search "GenerateFNISforUsers.exe" - right click it and add as executable, u can add most mods this way if installed inside mod organizer mod folder. Mods installed outside is easier to add like your screenshot shows, just remember where u installed them. Use the blue plus sign and add from file, navigate to exe file and add.

Maybe right click the fnis folder in the left side of mod organizer to see where the path is, unless u installed it outside MO2 in a "tools" folder or something. then u have to add it with the blue plus near executables top right on your screenshot. (Fnis for users folder)
