Hello Exiles!

 

Welcome to the world of Aeternum. Aeternum 4x is an 18+ Player vs. Environment server for those of you who like the mods all of those RP/E-RP servers are running but really don't want to RP! We are the perfect server locale for those who just like to PvE, decorate their base and enjoy a relatively chill experience in the Exiled Lands. We are running around 70 mods which include EEWA and other popular mods. We are not running Age of Calamitous or the main VAM mod, we do however have VAM crafting extended. We own our own epic server hardware (no monthly fees for us!) and we have an extremely fast 1 gigabyte per second fiber optic connection so that you never lag! (it won't be our fault at least if you do!)

Hey Aendir, having a hell of a time joining the server. I was able to play last night, but I woke up this morning and am unable to connect to the server due to the mod "Teyah's Boutique" constantly giving me a "wrong version" error. I've tried every trick I've found on the internet, nothing seems to work. I see 9 people playing as I type this, so I'm wondering if you have any suggestions? So far I've deleted the modlist, restarted steam, verified files, and unsubscribed from the mod.

Hey man - sorry I've been away from the PC - The best way to do it is get to the mod list screen on the server - tab out and go to the workshop and subscribe and unsubscribe to the affected mods and update through the server. Another way to go is exit Steam, reload and then do a full file verification through the Steam Library

Same thing here, but for me the mod "Vam - Vam Designs (2.0.2)" is throwing the "Wrong version" error.

Deleting the workshop files manually and resubscribing redownloads the mods but this doesn't help sadly.

After restarting the game today, one of the mods got updated and now i've got one more mod with the wrong version: "Thrall Wars Dungeon mod (25.0.0)"

Serpendon (original VAM creator) finally marked all of his mods "DO NOT USE" the link for the new one is https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=3350188592  -  Yeah with the new chapter mods have been updated right and left. We have daily server restarts at 2 PM EST and 2 AM EST so that usually grabs any updated ones. One thing to try is once your at the mod screen on the server - tab out and go to the workshop and just unsub from the missing / wrong version ones then tab back in and download through server. That way you get the one the server is currently running.
