Angahran Posted October 1, 2024 Posted October 1, 2024 Hi, I have a question about xedit scripting, if something is possible to automate. I tried asking in the xedit discord and the reply appears to require as much manual editing as not using the script provided (or I'm missing something obvious? I know nothing about xedit scripting.) Discord link The mod Unique Female Orcs has steps required to create a patch for any armor. I've done this manually for a few different sets but was wondering if it would be possible to create a script to do it all. Steps: Open ArmorMod.esp and UniquefemaleOrcs.esp with SSEEdit. Copy "Armor" and "Armor Addon" from ArmorMod.esp and "Race" from UniquefemaleOrcs.esp as overrride into new file. In newly created file copy "Armor Addon" again as new record and add prefix or suffix ORC to these records. Change the model path in each "ORC-Record" to a new one. Still in "Armor Addon" delete OrcRace & OrcRaceVampire Race from the override records and only leave the OrcRace & OrcRaceVampire in the new ORC-Records. Last step in SEEdit is to edit "Armor"-Records to tell them to use the new created ORC-Records. Close SEEdit and save new file.
