allthisstuffxxx Posted September 30, 2024 Posted September 30, 2024 Stellaris gets tons of updates all the time, and at this point I have no idea what mods actually work with the latest update, and which don't. It seems some often don't require any updating as the changes to Stellaris are really small or irrelevant to the mod, while it breaks others. But there is seemingly no way to see which mods are broken, and which mods are technically outdated but works fine. Is there a list somewhere of working mods? Or can someone just recommend in general some mods that are working along with LV?
Darker4 Posted September 30, 2024 Posted September 30, 2024 lusti void work fine , you can play without fear, i use arsound galaxy and framework :|D
ModderWhoModsThings Posted October 6, 2024 Posted October 6, 2024 Vanilla Framework Continued has active support so even if an update ends up breaking portraits you just gotta report it in the comments and it will be fixed quickly. Calcifire also seems to be pretty active so their mods should stay up to date as well.
XavierMace Posted October 7, 2024 Posted October 7, 2024 Even if you're only talking about the mods here on LL, nobody is (likely) going to take the time to track their status. Stellaris does updates pretty frequently and a lot of the mods only appeal to certain players. Most people aren't going to install and test a bunch of mods they don't have interest in just to see if they're still functional. The best you can do is make educated guesses by looking at Stellaris patch notes and the age of the mod. If Stellaris had a major update that changed any core behavior, any script heavy mods like LV are probably going to be at least partially broken. If the mod is just assets (portraits, icons, shipsets, etc), it's likely going to keep working largely indefinitely unless Stellaris changes how that asset type is handled, like they did for portraits earlier this year. If you don't want to play the guessing game, your only other option is stick to mods that have been updated after the date of the last major Stellaris patch.
