How to reduce the boost time?

Recommended Posts

I did some google search and find nothing useful.

currently my game took 2 minutes for finish loading. ENB is about + 20s.

the rest of them is some sexmod's music modification and something I havent find out

are there any way to fix this? like package the data into bsa/loose file (I dont understand this part but people say this will help)

my game already in SSD

my mods: 400.

Forget it, if everything works, don't fix it, my loading is 2:30 min +, 1350 active mods, 424 esp,

with all possible tweaks and optimizations

the big boost is ssd. I have some modded games on hdd, and those are slow to load compared to heavily modded skyrim on SSD.

playing around with loose files is about the program just loading the specific data it needed (ie one music track, one texture) rather than an entire mod for the location and ambience of where you are. If a mod was a picture,  a loose file is a jigsaw puzzle from which the system can pick up one piece that it wants. Bad news, the program, pc, and mod organizer now has to deal with a lot of files.

best I can suggest is check RAM usage, and see if there is enough ram in the pc to cache your game so that if it crashes, or you just set the pc to sleep rather than shutdown, then everything is fast for the next session.

if 9400f

16gb ram

any particular reason?

Skyrim is about 3Gb of memory usage when I run, so just reading the data to fill the 3Gb from an SSD is still going to be +10s, and that doesn't allow for SKSE/papyrus starting up. Anything heavy in .dll / .pex will need some thinking time as papyrus is an interpreted language.  2minutes seems a bit long, but if skyrim is stable and has the quests/LL mods that you want, it is working.

Best I would suggest is tracking down which of the 400 mods have SKSE/papyrus as a requirement, and try starting skyrim with them deactivated. If those are what  are causing a slow start, then go back through and see if there are SKSE/papyrus mods you can live without.
