Edit/Changing tag without SLATE

Go into the directory of the relevant animpack, then "SLAnims\JSON". The file that defines each animation, it's stages, and the tags is in there. You can edit it with a any plaintext editor.

After changing tags this way, go into the SL-Animloader MCM. On the right side there's an option called "reload JSONs" or something like that. I don't know what it's named anymore because i changed the label for myself, because "reload JSONs" is retarded: WHAT fucking JSONs? SL uses a whole bunch of those. In reality what this option does is, reload the file mentioned above. So basically it reloads the animtags from the pack's file, instead of using those stored in the savegame.

Also yes, you can fuck up entire animpacks by making a mistake, and not understand why - like accidentally typing a point instead of a comma. Good luck finding mistakes like that.

The thing missing from @libertyordeath's post is that reloading SLAL json files will not notify SL about configuration changes. If you've already registered animations, reset SL animation registry and wait for SLAL to register all animations again.
