kantoboii Posted September 25, 2024 Posted September 25, 2024 I thought I read about a mod/tweak out there that makes the character look at the camera "lens"/player/screen when freecam is enabled - is there something out there like that? If so, which is it? My few Googles are failing me!
Kastagir Posted September 25, 2024 Posted September 25, 2024 (edited) You are mistaken. This mod enables the player's character to head-track the screen - just not while free-cam is active. TFC disassociates the camera from any actor so this functionality is not possible. The best you can do is move the camera to the desired position while the PC is head-tracking it and then toggle TFC or use the mod's hotkey to "keep the pose" to lock the head in position. libertyordeath Posted September 25, 2024 Posted September 25, 2024 Kastagir is correct. The real catch isn't TFC, but your Skyrim version: The above mod is basically abandonned. It's not available for current AE versions, and neither was it ever compiled for the GOG versions. Binaries are only available up to 640 and that's it. And there's no real alternative to the above mod. All the other headtracking mods do not do what "Look What You See" does. I would know, because i've been looking everywhere for a mod like this that works on 1.6.659.
