Viktor86 Posted September 21, 2024 Posted September 21, 2024 All of a sudden I got this issue with trying to run a Sexlab animation. Pretty sure it's via the Sexlab Aroused thing, given its influence on that stat. I click on the ''Miss, may I have a word'' dialogue option, whichafter the whole conversation plays out normally. After I pick from the options (I want to fuck you, I want you to fuck me, etc), it normally tries to seek for a bed with the pop up. But then the game turns black with the exception of the final bit of the dialogue and the inmovable mouse cursor and my screen freezes, where it should normally transition to a scene. I have no idea what the issue could be, but it happens no matter where I try to initiate this scene and it happens with every single NPC or every dialogue option I try. The rest of the game works fine. I can walk around without an issue, change cells without an issue and finish a quest without an issue. At this point I am almost level 50 in this playthrough and it has been working all this time in this playthrough and all my previous ones as well. I haven't changed or edited my modlist or load order since the last time this playthrough I have done a scene. Because of the freezing and no CtD there is no crash log and googling for a potential solution refers to generic Skyrim freezing posts that are of little to no use to me. I am almost certain it's probably just some stupidly simple solution, but I have no idea. Plugin load order from LOOT via MO2. Game is the updated Steam version. If you have a (modern) programming background you're probably looking at 2 years of dedicated work. For context, I've messed around with assembly for probably a decade now and I would not be looking forward to having to work on a freezing application, especially one such as Skyrim running on MO2's usvfs. So that is why the only reasonable approach is usually to start ripping your setup apart, one mod at a time. Freezing tends to be conceptually very simple yes. You either have 2 threads waiting for eachother, a so called deadlock, or you have one thread that's in a loop that never completes. In your case its almost definitely the latter, not that that helps any. 1
