actaeon992 Posted September 18, 2024 Posted September 18, 2024 I've been trying to get this to work myself but haven't had any luck. What I want to do is have an exception to the monogamy doctrine that allows polygamy and/or concubines for a particular dynasty in an otherwise monogamous faith. This should cone without the negative modifiers (both opinion and marriage acceptance). I want this to work similar to how the AGOT mod has an exception for Targaryen incest. Does anyone know how to go about accomplishing this or know of something out there already?

Iirc as a ruler with 3 congenital traits and at least one of them being of highest tier, you can take the decision and it gives a dynasty modifier where your dynasty gets better congenital traits from that point on. If there is a way to detect said modifier, you could make a different modifier and include it in the polygamy triggers. If that isn't possible, then another way I can think of is just creating a custom dynasty legacy tree, because perks from it can be detected through code (unlike with the previous method, this one I know should be possible)
