lhwines Posted September 16, 2024 Posted September 16, 2024 Hi, I've been actively working on a completely new load order for weeks trying to find a combo I like with for the most part newer mods. I keep crashing after creation in racemenu using bhuup within moments of gaining control over my character. I can load a previous save and move around inside breezehome but after a few min of wandering around outside i also crash, I expect that though as per I'm playing with the lo trying to figure out if it's a single mod doing this as has been the issue in the past. Any insight into what might be it would be helpful. I know ill figure it out on my own, but to speed things up I'd like suggestions and tips if possible. Load order and Mo mod list located along with crash logger report if you want pap logs I'd have to enable and force a crash again not that hard to do.crash-2024-09-16-18-53-20-REPORT.txtmoloadlist.txtlo.txt I will keep working on this on my end I know it has to be a mod I recently installed or updated as per I was enabling groups testing with new charters starting their lives moving around outside without issue I just haven't figured out what yet.

traison Posted September 16, 2024 Posted September 16, 2024 I doubt that crash had anything to do with what you were talking about in the OP. This is crash occured before the main menu didn't it? Missing master. Mod with incompatible dll. (maybe) Form 43 mod on 1130/1170.

No, I crash about 10-15 sec after I start a new character odds are yes something has an outdated dll I'm slowly disabling mods have over 1000 so takes time so far no luck I disable 5-6 at a time and only the ones not needed for my char creation however ill be checking those to if I can't find it. And I always check my esp list for any flags saying there's a missing mod Edited September 16, 2024 by lhwines

lhwines Posted September 16, 2024 Author Posted September 16, 2024 Note I have been able to load an existing character without crashing right away but walking around outside it crashed a few times with most but not all mods enabled.

traison Posted September 16, 2024 Posted September 16, 2024 (edited) The stack in this log is oddly messy. I'm getting the feeling the callstack was unwound incorrectly. It crashed because it tried to dereference RAX which at the time of the crash was 0x0, so you have a null pointer somewhere. The crash was caused by form id 0x0F155ED5 "Elenthil" from "3DNPC.esp" reference id 0x0F155ED3. Unfortunately I don't really know why. The stack seems to suggest it came from processing behavior graphics on some stairs into printing a papyrus error from xpmse onto crashing on a null pointer in an npc in the temple of mara. Kinda all over the place there if you ask me. Edit: If you need more I'd suggest you teleport to a couple of other cities and run around until it crashes. Post the logs from those 2 tests as well.
