Wandering_Mania Posted September 6, 2024 Posted September 6, 2024 Does anyone know how to get more than 10 mods to be automatically activated when booting the game, while using Vortex to install them, and without going into the 'Creations' menu every single time to activate them? I ask because going into that cursed menu, seems to deactivate the Starqueen mod, and give me nothing but invis bodies. Even ones that are not even touched by it, like Vasko, the robot's body is invis as well. Please help, this is just making me angry.

I was always told mod organizer was the best mod manager. Edited September 9, 2024 by xking
brown66 Posted September 9, 2024 Posted September 9, 2024 (edited) @Wandering_Mania I know the frustration and irritation a person feels when we have little time to play and, wanting to play, we face problems with mods. Xking already said it all. Forget Vortex, use Mod Manager before. Sounds complicated to use, but I assure you that complicated to use is Vortex and its problems with Sarfield. I'm preparing, without rushing, a video to show how you install Mod Organizer and then use it with Starfield. If you are in a hurry to see how you do, I can accelerate the execution of that video. Long story short: From what I've heard about MO2, it's way more complicated/complex than Vortex, and I just ain't got the time, nor patience to figure it out. I only use Vortex for Starfield because NMM doesn't support it. Or at least my version of NMM doesn't. Apparently, because I hadn't played the game since last September when it released; I was still using the old 'sTestFile=' in the StarfieldCustom.ini, and by doing that, it bypassed, and ignored the new 'plugins.ini' which was added in one of the patches in the past year. So all I had to do was remove all the 'sTestFile=' entries, and all worked fine after that.
