Guest Posted December 6, 2013 Posted December 6, 2013 Question: my Wyre Bash does not have an installers folder! what is the exact path for it? (WB version 304.3 Stand Alone installed in the Oblivion folder, Win7 64bit OS, all required python and c++ installed and working;) I tried adding the folder manually in Mopy folder, but no success with that either. Wyre Bash is working ok otherwise (finally - WB does not like 64 bit OS at all!), I just can't install Bain mods. No place to put them. Please don't send links __ UNLESS the link answers this EXACT question. I've spent 5 DAYs trying to hunt this down, including downloading and trying every Wyre Bash version I could find (not many found tho, and those had massive error dumps, missing commands, failed bash patch creation and worse) In other words: Been there, done that, found nothing. Thanks in advance for your help; I hope you can prove I am a complete noob and idiot on this one.
ZeKollektor Posted December 8, 2013 Posted December 8, 2013 Wrye Bash should automatically create the correct folders when you click on the Installers tab and subsequently enable installers in the prompt. If this failed for some reason you can enable them manually by right clicking the top bar in the installers window and selecting "enable". The new files are created in the "Bethesda Softworks" folder. For example, for me it looks like D:\Games\Bethesda Softworks\Oblivion Mods\Bash Installers I hope this is what you were looking for.
Guest Posted December 8, 2013 Posted December 8, 2013 Thank You!!! I knew it had to be simple.... for the record: My path (Win7; game moved to avoid User account Control) C:\Games\Steam\steamapps\common\Oblivion Mods\Bash Installers\ I could not find the "enable" option, but turns out I didn't need it anyway... tested a simple BAIN mod and it works. Thanks again
