HD 4000 @ 350 MHz

Its woefully underpowered.

To clarify, you cant have an "ENB with ENBoost" as ENBoost is just the regular ENB minus all graphical enhancements.

So it seems youre trying to run a standardl ENB preset on this "Ultrabook" ...

What?Dude I don't even see from where you picked that up 350Mhz and 4000HD,know what you speak before  actually saying anything. And the term ultrabook is more midiatic due to width and weight, don't go ironic with me with what I own,I'm asking for help instead of a honeyed nip,be more respectful towards me.

       System Model: Inspiron 5423

The specs from dxdiag aren't complete so someone would have to type the model name into google to get a more accurate representation. Even then, there's more than one result of Inspiron 5423 with different specs (same cpus but different gpus, etc). You can search google with the complete model number to get full specs if you don't know them yourself.

What is missing, then?I just ommited some few personal data, well, the log is complete if you save it as .txt, but I think that only the beginning is really important

We need to know what graphics card you have, that's very important. You can find this by right clicking "My Computer" selecting "Manage" and in the side bar on the left click "Device Manager". It will be under "Display Adapters".

We can help you more if we have that.

My native language is portuguese, however I don't think it will be a problem to see what is what there, names are obviously suggestive.

First of all, it's a bad idea to play Skyrim on the notebooks.

About your problem - when you run your Skyrim with ENB, it probably runs on your integrated intel HD cra....card, instead of the amd one. That's why you've getting less FPS with ENB.

How do I swich then?I tried to do so by the Launcher but it only displayed the Intel card. And I'm aware of that, but I also needed an notebook in the case I go to a college next year away from my city,so I wouldn't buy a (expensive) computer just to play games, instead I tried to balance it.

Haha, and I don't mind things such as "cra...",really =) ,as long it's not poisonous as one of the posts above.Aside the video card, everything green?

You need to find out if i'm right first. Or just find out how do you switch cards with ENB. I know such a prob exists, but since i don't have two cards, i never tried to find out how it's done now.

Only thing i know is that you're supposed to use the injector ENB instead of a wrapper one.

Posted

Why use injector? Because it's the Boris's(ENB's author) answer for this kind of problems.

Don't forget you need to remove d3d9.dll and copy enbseries.dll into your skyrim folder. Then start ENBInjector.exe.

Hmm.. I have two cards and I use the wrapper and I haven't an issue. Though.. if you can't get skyrim to use your good card rather then.. errm your other one. Do you have a manager for your good card? I have nvidia and it has a manager that you can go into it, and dictate what program uses what graphics card. See if you have something like that?

Hope that helps :)

Thanks I'll do so.In the AMD settings the only thing I did was to set Skyrim to high performance, will that  and installing the injector do?

Intel 4000HD is the integrated GPU in your Intel® Core™ i5-3337U.

It runs at 350 Mhz Standard clock.

Since you didnt provide any more specifics i assumed that that's the hardware you are running skyrim on.

And again:

ENBoost = ENB witout all the effects.

In fact Boris usually tells people to use the wrapper (d3d9.dll), the injector was meant for users with Nvidia Optimus Notebooks. It's almost the same as your setup with the difference of it being AMD instead of Nvidia.

If you want to use injector, replace the d3d9.dll with enbseries.dll and start the ENBInjector.exe before you launch skyrim.

If it works, you should be able to access the ENB menu via shift+enter

Me too. I'm actually absolutely SURE it's not ENB. I'm just too polite(lolwut) to post about this in this "mod's"  thread.

Ohh,I noticed it's normal for ENBoost panel to be disabled in the injector version, also, what are the most efficient ENB plugins that are compatible/geared towards ENBoost?I also would like to know a good mod for showing FPS and related,if not a simple console command lol

Posted

ENBoost is just a regular ENB, but it has

UsePatchSpeedhackWithoutGraphics=true

set inside the enblocal.ini.

Posted

ENB has an inbuilt FPS counter in the shift+enter menu.

If you dont get the panel its not working properly.

And for the third time, ENBoost is just the normal ENB with ALL VISUAL EFFECTS DISABLED.

I do actually get a red phrase, like this (in other words) PATCH SPEEDHACK ON in enblocal.ini, graphic editor disabled. (Hence no shaders/etc editors as in wrapper edition.

Also, how can I turn it's effects on again without unninstalling the ENBoost?Such as trading the true by false in the enblocal, ini speedhack
