ztaku1816 Posted November 8, 2025 Posted November 8, 2025 Welcome to the big 2025(6, in a few months), let's see if this still works!
ztaku1816 Posted November 10, 2025 Posted November 10, 2025 Hello, I'd like to report a typo in; C:\Users\User\Documents\Paradox Interactive\Crusader Kings III\mod\Family Business\common\scripted_triggers.txt where ; $FAITH$ = { has_doctrine = doctrine_consanguinity_cousins } OR = { is_close_family_of = $CHARACTER$ #[parents, children, siblings, grandparents, grandchildren] is_uncle_or_aunt_of = $CHARACTER$ is_nibling_of = $CHARACTER$ } you wrote "nibling" instead of sibling.

"nibling" is a real word - it is a gender neutral term to refer to nieces and nephews, just as "siblings" refer to both brothers and sisters. is_nibling_of is also a trigger that Paradox themselves use in the code. There is, of course, a is_sibling_of as well, but is_close_family_of will have already covered it.

Have you checked if this mod works with version 1.18.*? I haven't checked it out myself yet, but I'm considering modifying it, at least initially adding the culture back without “Claim Family.” Edited January 26 by Ramar1212

The are no noticeable problems, it works just fine. I modified the culture tradition of it, of course. Edited January 28 by ztaku1816
